A Rutgers professor is seeking a Rutgers student to provide live-in assistance for an elderly family member in New Brunswick. Immediate opening.

This position may be especially appealing to pre-med, nursing, PT/OT, or other healthcare-related students, but students from any major are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities include:

• Companionship
• Assisting with physical exercises
• Help with daily activities
• Light housekeeping and household chores
• Pet care

The position does not include shopping or meal preparation.

Requirements:

• Male student preferred
• Responsible, reliable, and comfortable assisting an older adult
• Comfortable around pets

Compensation:

• $1,500 per week
• Free private room in downtown New Brunswick (two blocks from George Street)

The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
