Hi everyone, Tacoma Mayor Anders Ibsen here. (Yep, actually me, not a staffer.) As part of the start of my administration in my first year, I’m doing my best to be community-facing and accessible.

So to start off my first foray into the Tacoma Reddit territory, I would like to offer an AMA for the next 24 hours. Feel free to inquire about anything, and I will do my best to get you that information.

For technical questions, service requests, or information I might not know off-hand, I will refer you to my city email and we can talk off-line with the appropriate city staff to help you.

Finally, moving forward as a general rule, while I do not have capacity to actively peruse this sub, I will do my best to make postings here about pertinent topics as they come up, and respond accordingly in those posts. In between those, you’re always welcome to reach me via email, or out in community.
