[Partially Lost] Found Some Vuclip Videos (2010-2012) in a BlackBerry
I found videos (Not all videos, obviously.) in some data from an old Blackberry that had downloaded videos from a now-defunct platform called Vuclip,
Context About Vuclip
It was a popular video-on-demand service for emerging markets with over 7 million subscribers per quarter in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates. Vuclip was headquartered in Milpitas, California, and had a presence in Dubai, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, Delhi, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Singapore. Mobile pioneers (According to my research, since the information is extremely limited)
The company was also led by
- CEO, Nickhil Jakatdar, COO and President, Arun Prakash, CTO, Bo Shen, CFO, Apurva Desai, CRO, Salman Hussain, CPO, Satheesh Kumar
Currently, the vuclip.com domain redirects to PCCW (https://www.pccw.com/)., a telecommunications company, suggesting that the platform was either acquired or dismantled.
And The Videos
These downloaded videos are from 2010, 2011, and 2012 and are in Spanish and Venezuelan, as they were downloaded from Venezuela (some are in English).
If you're wondering if it really existed, check out this Wayback Machine screenshot:

I also uploaded a video in youtube called "AdiosMoto" (Goodbye Motorcycle in Spanish) from the vuclip videos

Why is this relevant to this lost media?
- The platform no longer exists.
- There are no public repositories of its content.
- The recovered files could be among the few accessible remnants.
Here are the places I researched for the information
- Wikipedia
- Wayback Machine
- I didn't find any repositories (at the moment)
- Vuclip Search idk if works (im not installing this in my phone)
- And... The Vuclip Videos Files in the blackberry
