This .png is an entire executable linux "IDE" (arch btw)

this ~6KB image contains a full C editor (`.mly`) that I wrote in exactly 1000 lines.

Note: the image sometimes opens as a webp because of reddit jank. If this happens, there's the same raw image here, or downscale the first image.

if you want to see what it's actually running, the entire source is here. It's mostly input handling.

To use this, do the following:

  • open the image in GIMP, and export as '.data'. That's literally it.
  • extract this in whatever file extraction tool you use (it's a 7z archive)
  • run ./mly README to give it a try! (yes, there's a README inside it)

make sure you have the ncurses package installed btw. (it probably is)

anyways, use this to larp as a cool haxxor programmer to people ig. Or save 300KB and replace nano with it 💀.

Plebeians click through a GUI, a real Arch Wizard commands their system directly.

before anyone asks, i got bored again.

so next to my previous glyph-based input, i've decided to make fully programmable voice input using whisper AI.

it can run commands, open terminals, open programs and type text, including carrying over the remainder of the activation sentence.

for example, the next sentence was typed entirely using this tool:

arch is the best

Audio still broken

I fight with this for a month already. I regret connecting Debian server to my TV "to have my own smart TV". If you don't believe me look up this crap online and see ridiculous amount of threads which are as old as 6 months, or 12 years

Edit: the audio randomly starts and stops working after reboot. No matter the drivers, DE, kernel parameters... Once HDMI disappears from outputs, once it exists but doesn't play any sound, once aplay plays sound but pipewire doesn't, and the same issue happens on 2, independent computers. I am glad it works for you - for me and big amount of people it doesn't.

all these novices with their "tab to complete", a real ARCH wizard *casts* his full system upgrades.

i got bored again and made this.

using my wacom tablet to draw/write, which is why the mouse jitters a little.

project not-so-proudly slop-coded in python using GTK libraries.

of course, it has customizability, you can add your own glyphs and it has a text mode that.... "works".
