So, a little announcement

With fh6 officially being a month old now, I felt the need to address things. First of all holy shit, we’ve had so many new people joining the sub since release day. Like sure I was expecting a few new faces, but you guys really burst through the door haha. Consider this my proper welcome to each and every one of you as well as to the returning members I’ve seen. I’m super grateful for you all making this place into what it is today, seeing all sorts of new styles and unique creations but most importantly seeing that the sub actually works for what it was intended for: to help painters regardless of skill level or whether or not they want to paint themselves.

On the topic of not painting yourself I would like to mention the following regarding requests: Even after posting, I hope you all understand that it’s not 100% guaranteed each request will get made. Oftentimes I try to take as many as I can myself (right now you could say I got enough for an entire month, which I can get started on after my exam period) otherwise I try (if available) to point people out to other painters I know would be interested to take on it (even if I don’t comment under said post).

Then regarding the use of AI and painter tools, you hear me mention this often enough, you guys know my opinion on it (from the pinned post as well) and nothing will change about it. Sure, not everyone may agree with it, you’re free to criticise me, I’ll hear you out that’s not the issue and we don’t all have to agree on the same things but at the same time we should still able to understand where the other is coming from.

Finally as you know with me, I like to comment on each and every post (though I think I sometimes might be missing a few so if that’s the case know it’s not deliberate).
At the end of the day I’m just one guy, I’m fortunate enough to be backed up by friends and the guys from the mod team both here on Reddit and in the discord server. Trying to split myself best I can, be active to help people and if you ever got any questions feel free to DM (always open).

Feedback and suggestions always appreciated, you all know this place isn’t as strict as other communities, only thing I actually expect is for everyone to have basic decency and respect towards others.

Recent livery commission I did of Vtuber Hako Baelz. I have to say, this feels like the first time I managed to get the itasha style done properly. Character itself took me 22 hours then a few more to figure out the rest. Which is better? BRZ or GR86?

SAVE CORRUPTION - list of cars (fh6)

so far, I am aware of these cars causing issues with save files, Tier 1 being the most dangerous and Tier 4 being the least dangerous.

TIER 1

  • 2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning
  • 1993 Schuppan 962CR

TIER 2

  • 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air
  • 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000QV
  • 2020 Wuling Sunshine S Forza Edition

TIER 3

  • 1994 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta
  • 2019 Porsche #70 Motorsport 945
  • 2017 Ford M-Sport Fiesta RS

Please, if you know of any other cars that cause save corruption, I'd love to know. Additionally if you play on XBOX, turn off quick resume, as it is one of the most known sources of game corruption, if you play on PC, backup your save data. It isn't saved in a convenient manner as it was with fh5 however, you should still try to do as much as you can. Final Tip: DON'T DRIVE ANY NEW FESTIVAL PLAYLIST CARS, the 2 most dangerous cars came from the festival playlist: week 1 + 2 and the chance that future seasons will have dangerous cars are more likely than not.

I got commissioned by a real life formula drift driver, to remake his car in Fh6! It took me 27 hours, but I’m more than happy with the results. GT: Andrew9565 SC: 893 724 482

So unfortunately they didn’t bring over the GRC civic from FH5 (picture 2) so I had to adapt the livery I made on it, to the FL5 type R. I will say I’m quite pleased with the results. GT: Andrew 9565 SC: 176 293 117

Here’s the last major livery I did in FH5. Based on Asia exclusive Chinese lunar year cards from Porsche, I created an art car on the Taycan CT (in fh6 it’ll have to be on the regular one). Horses themselves took me 14 hours and then making the rest in detail around 6 hours.

Game resetting Bug with the Ford Lightning.

There appears to be a dangerous bug with the 2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning. Shortly after I unblocked the truck via the Festival Playlist in Forza horizon 6 today, I went to make a paint job for it. After I finished my paint job, I went to post the design publicly. After attempting to post it, a message popped up implying the servers weren’t available, and to come back later and try again. I didn’t think anything of this, because things like this had happened before, so I just restarted my game. Well, after I quit back to the Xbox main menu, and clicked on the game, it asked me to re configure my controller settings. I thought “interesting, this is odd”, not thinking bad about the situation, I followed through. Then the game puts me into the beginning of the initial Drive- I immediately quit the game. I restarted my Xbox, and it didn’t fix anything. I had lost everything. One week’s worth of hard work and progress gone! The only thing I kept was my 27k Design downloads which I was most worried about loosing. I lost my 120 cars, my Purple wristband, and my map and exploration. So I had no choice but to completely restart. After making some more progress trying to get back on my feet, I do the playlist, and I get the Lightning again. I went to post a design for it, and guess what? The same message popped up. So I changed cars to the 2020 Ford F-450 Super Duty, to see if it would let me post a design, and it did. Changed to a ‘86 F-150, let me post a design. The 03 Lightning won’t let me post a design, and the same error message that caused my game to fully reset popped up again. I force saved my game this time, but just be aware of that glitch.
