Currently on S1E6 of Silo... When does it start getting good?

Damn, if this isn't a step down coming from Severance and Widow's Bay. Those two shows prompted my Apple TV binge, and while I'm not expecting every show to be as outstanding, the ratings of this show would imply that it's of a similar calibre. So far it's pretty dull...

Is this a case in which the conceptual basis of the show is better than the actual execution?

I'll continue watching, but I'm curious as to what people think. Especially given that the best TV shows will hook you within a few episodes. Is it just a slow burn?

After finishing Widow's Bay

People are naturally seeking other shows to sate the hunger they were left with after finishing Widow's Bay. I discovered Widow's Bay after I saw Matthew Rhys on some promo and started watching IMMEDIATELY, not even reading the synopsis.

I discovered Matthew Rhys after watching The Beast In Me on Netflix, in which he delivered an excellent performance. So that could be a good thing to jump into if you're craving more awesomeness. Very thrilling drama.
