He's on Xbox I might make him on PC when the expansion comes out. Thanks for traveling with him if you do.
With new gear and changes included with patches/ and Dark Arisen Expansion, I think that Warfarer will be THE default vocation to play for various reasons:
All points mentioned, makes me feel that Warfarer will be the default way to play dragons dogma 2 dark arisen. Of course that's just speculation and capcom could include some class specific core skills and auguments, but as for now - we haven't seen any.
ps. What are your plans on expansion, are you sticking with your main vocation or are you planing to do some fancy Warfarer unique class on your own? Im personally thinking about Ilusionist Strider with Bow/Daggers/Censer, to somewhat recreate strider from the first game and add smoke/illusion theme on top of it. Share your ideas!
Made on Xbox X Series!
I recently got DD2 for pc in order to play it with mods like Bestiary, Guild Contracts, and so on, but with the upcoming updates and Dark Arisen arriving soon I'm wondering if they may end up breaking my modded playthroughs once they arrive. What do you think, folks? Should I wait to install mods on my game?
Yes I'm going to make Sancho the pawn
If you are looking for a Sorcerer pawn, what skills are you looking for and what are the big no no to you?
Is it annoying when enemies get thrown in the air or fire rains from the sky? Or do you love the chaos?
Top 2 skills for you and 2 skills that will make you go "Absolutely not"
(Mind you I don't need stuff like inclination or specialization or if a pawn have a quest, just weapons skills)
Edit: Boy oh boy, I feel like I am learning wildly opposite things hehe
Like the fool I am I deleted my complete playthtough with all badges and the platinum shortly before the Dark Arisen announcement. At first I said "no way I'm doing all the badges over again", but here I am, proving myself quite the liar.
I'm definitely not getting all those seekers token again, though.
Thanks to anyone who hired Mystique and helped me out!
Platform is PS5, btw
The other day I hired two pawns to replace the first ones I got. One was a lady archer, who I still have, and the other was Lord Chonk. Lord Chonk was a Thief, towered over my Arisen and other pawns, and looked like the kind of man who would kill you just for making eye-contact. But Lord Chonk was the sweetest of all my pawns, even my main. He sounded like a gentle anime protagonist. He had such nice things to say about everyone, and even though we weren't together for as long as my first pawns, we accomplished a heck of a lot together, enough that he once commented: "We're inseparable, aren't we?"
So you can imagine my HEARTBREAK, when all that comes to an end one day. We're making our way along the river line north towards Eini's house, when suddenly Lord Chonk tells me he knows where a treasure chest is. Happily I let him lead us there (Lord Chonk turned out to be the Font of All Knowledge when it came to hidden chests. He takes a left at a point where two bits of land jut out into the river on either side, allowing us to cross over onto the cliff opposite. There on a higher point is the chest, with a harpy guarding it. Lord Chonk immediately engages. There's not enough space for us all to tussle so I hang back with my other pawns. We watch helplessly as Lord Chonk goes airborne, impales the harpy, and drops into the water below. There's nowhere for him to escape. The brine takes him, leaving a dead harpy floating in the water.
I'm gutted. I never made him my favourite, but he was my favourite. I don't even remember what I got out of that chest, but it wasn't worth it.
RIP Lord Chonk. Please stop fighting on cliffs.
Now I gotta save both myself AND the mage lol.
Argent Succor is kinda hit or miss. Pawns tend to prefer Anodyne and only use it if your health is dangerously low, but by the time they finish casting it you either have used a curative or probably already dead from follow up attack. When they do make it it felt awesome though.
If only holding the Anodyne button would make it lock-on like how enchantment works...

Jumping back into the game after a long hiatus in prep for DLC. I've been trying to clear the Vernworth camping badges for ages. Feel free to drop your pawn ID even if my pawn is too high level to hire as I like to hire pawns and help out with quests and get them some gear.
Could anyone be kind enough to gift me a ring of endeavour so I can get my magick archer fully built. I would much appreciate it 💓. I’m on ps if that matters.
