Why is 'The Ghastly Theatre' in the Mercenary unique pool when it was added during the Heist league?

  • The following Unique items are now once again obtained through Mercenary encounters, and have been removed from the core drop pool: Azadi Crest, Binds of Bloody Vengeance, The Ghastly Theatre, Hand of Heresy, Howlcrack, and Scornflux.

Is this a mistake in the patch notes?

Mark said "No" to the log in to hideout feature.

Timestamp: 1:59:00

While acknowledging that no one's going to like the answer, Mark explained that it is ultimately because they want the game to "feel like a multiplayer game" and want players to "see other players" and "be part of this universe where there are other players."

But this feature is already in PoE2. Are these things not important in PoE2?

Can Talismans get some love?

It feels like Talismans have slowly and quietly faded into complete irrelevance over time.

there might be a few niche builds that utilize them, but for the vast majority of players, Talismans might as well not even exist.

When we see Talisman rewards in Heist or Blight, we basically treat them as a dead reward standard. Nobody even bothers picking up any Talismans anymore, except for Eyes of the Greatwolf.

In the 3.13 league, we could use actually usable Talismans due to the well-rolled modifier system, but this system was also deleted in 3.14.

Sure, it's easy to just hide them on our loot filters and pretend they don't exist, but wouldn't it be great if they were reworked so we could actually utilize them in diverse ways?

What if we could get un-corrupted Talismans as rare drops? Or would that be way too overpowered?

Maybe I'm just missing some hidden utility here, but right now, it feels like the only purpose of Talismans is to dilute the reward pool of other league mechanics with completely useless junk.

Please add specific Exceptional Gems to bosses outside the Atlas.

https://preview.redd.it/wfgw5igrszbh1.jpg?width=432&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b984b25a11e15c98d1ebdd7b9f8e9255fc6354b1

I’m finding the revamped Exceptional Gem system introduced in 3.28 highly engaging, and I hope to see even more Exceptional Gems added in 3.29.

The main improvement I'd like to suggest is expanding these additions to league mechanic bosses that exist outside the Atlas.

Currently, with the exception of Enlighten, Empower, and Enhance, all Exceptional Gems can only be obtained from bosses within the Atlas or Memory Vault.

Rather than restricting the drop sources of Exceptional Gems strictly to bosses inside the Atlas, I think it would be much better to add unique, boss-specific Exceptional Gems to non-Atlas content as well, such as Heist, Delve, Expedition Logbooks, Kingsmarch, and Bestiary (Farrul, Craiceann, Fenumus, Saqawal).

I believe adding these Exceptional Gems would just provide another good reason to farm these currently neglected league mechanic bosses.

Requesting "Log in to Hideout" as a 3.29 QoL.

This QoL feature is already implemented in POE2. The technology clearly exists.

Since it’s already a feature in POE2, which has better graphics than POE1, the excuse of having us log into town in POE1 just to show off MTX and drive sales no longer makes sense.

In fact, during their interview with Zizaran, when Octavian and Andrew were asked if we could log straight into our hideouts like in POE2, they admitted they didn't know exactly why the two games handle this differently and promised to bring it up with Mark and Jonathan. (Timestamp: 1:34:35)

I hope the feature to log into the hideout is implemented in POE1 in 3.29.
