Mod and Average when calculating time difference

Hi Excel Brain Trust,

I'm trying to find the average of time differences.

I have a range of calculated values that are time differences between two times, using the "MOD" formula:

=IFERROR(MOD(range-range,1),"N/A")

The result is formatted to hh:mm

However, I cannot seem to find the average of the results. =Average produces results that I cannot figure where they're coming from.

Any ideas? Unfortunately my client strongly prefers the hh:mm format.

Topa to Hot Springs: Two day loop

Just got home from a 30 mile, two day loop. Started at middle lion trailhead, up to topa topa bluffs, then down the red reef trail to sespe river, a morning soak at willet hot springs, then back up to piedra Blanca trailhead. One of the most beautiful ways to experience the best of Los Padres. It also featured pushing through some pretty badly underused sections of trail, which I count as another fun part of Los Padres! And I caught sight of lpfa prepping pack animals at the trailhead!

Reyes Peak

Reyes Peak

First time to Reyes Peak- how beautiful! Such a different biome at this elevation with pines and firs and red rocks. Hiked 7 miles up Chorro Grande trail and watched it change from buckwheat, manzanita, and scrub oak. Great water, great trail, beautiful day.

Day hiking goody bag - Am I missing anything?

I’m putting together a small essentials bag for longer day hikes but I want to be sure I’m not missing anything obvious. Most of my hikes are between 3-6 hours in local state parks. I’m in the Midwest so it’s starting to get warm, so I don’t think I need a layer. I carry a GPS but usually have reception in these places. I keep a spare down jacket and rain jacket in my car.
The bag by the Lifestraw is a headlamp with spare batteries btw. I always carry snacks and a full water bottle as well.
Thanks!

Thank you, podcast

Listened to the “Mark Twain Stump” episode with my kids last week, and we started talking. I told them Kings Canyon is only like 4 hours drive from us, we could find a campsite and go. They were excited- we like camping as a family, and found other fun things to do in the area (Boyden Cavern, meet with friends).

Well it was an amazing trip! And we wouldn’t have gone without the podcast. Thanks everyone at the podcast team!

Petty question about thank you gifts

Our webelos reached out to city hall and met with the mayor and city manager for about 30 minutes. Everyone at city hall was gracious and welcoming, they even had “swag” like mints and pens.

One of the parents wants everyone to chip in to buy about $50 worth of Godiva chocolates for the mayor’s office. I am the cubmaster and think a signed thank you card is more appropriate, I’m pretty strongly opposed to getting a thank you gift for our elected representatives.

What do you think?

Tankless Water Heater - sediment won't stop

Please help - I recently installed a salt-based water softening system, and flushed my Ecosmart 27 tankless water heater. Now I'm not getting the calcium white sediment, but instead non-stop tiny red sediment. It's to the point that we can only get a few showers in before we have to take apart the mixer cartridge and clean it. I'm getting tired of taking it all apart! How can I stop the red sediment!

Hi everyone,

I'm losing my mind. I have flushed the electric water heater multiple times, removed the elements and cleaned them (they are spotless). The water direct from the hot water service valve is great pressure. I have taken apart the shower cartridge multiple times and flushed the lines (lots of fun for my kids to watch). I'll get one good shower in, then it's back to navy showers the next day.

Could it be anything else? Is there something I'm missing? Wife is worried there's a blockage or leak in the hot water supply somewhere up the line.

Stupid question - going to the Ventura Raceway for the first time for the flat track motorcycles - what is the best way to get there? I've been to the fairgrounds several times, do I need to walk through the fairgrounds? Or is there a gate near Garden St?

ETA the person I'm going with wants to park at C-street garage and walk.

All this posts about opening main to cars, but I don't see any posts or comments from anyone who lives there. Anyone on this sub live in the apartments over the shops on main? Or work in the offices?

I oppose the premise that the only metric of main street is the success of the retail and restaurants.

ETA: Anyone who lives in the closure area want to respond? From what I can tell, nearly every downtown closure area building has a 2nd floor with apartments. Lots of responses from people who work downtown in non-retail, but my basic premise is that the measure of common spaces is not just their economic output.
