Just got the MFC-L2860DW printer and set it up. During setup i've got the notification, that there is a firmware update i should install.

I've still toner for > 1000 pages, but i plan to use third party cardriges when i have to replace the one, that came with the printer.

Is it safe to update the firmware at least as of today?
My main firmware right now is 1.15 and i also wonder if there are any changelogs out there.

I cleaned the dirt water tank of my Roborock S8 Ultra Pro regularly but it always smelled bad.

Due to the construction of that thing you can't open the complete lid (only half of it) and when having a closer look i saw a lot of gunk directly under the fixed portion of the lid where the nozzles are.

I cleaned the tank with a showerhead pointing the waterstream directly to that direction and man - a lot of dark gunk was washed out. When emptying the tank again a small rubber cap came out and i have no clue where it belongs.

So far everything seems to work fine. The roboter cleans and dirt water gets pumped into the tank. Does anybody know what this piece is for and show me where it should be reattached?

Geht um einen Neubau 2022. Ca. 120qm Wohnfläche über 2 Etagen (EG, OG) mit Fußbodenheizung. Sowohl oben als auch unten gibt es ein Schränkchen mit den ganzen Schläuchen und Stellventilen.

Bei der Wartung der Heizung wurde gesagt, dass die Reinigung des Kreislaufs für die Fußbodenheizung auch mal anstehen würde. Das würde aber wohl auch über 700€ kosten, weil das "Harz" (!?) was dann durch die Rohre gejagt wird allein schon 600€ kostet.

Da ich bereits jährlich 500€ nur für 30-60min Wartung der Heizung bezahle ist das natürlich ein ziemlicher Brocken. Kenne mich null damit aus (wohne zur Miete) und würde gern mal eine fachliche Einschätzung dazu haben.

Wie oft sollte so eine Reinigung durchgeführt werden (haben relativ weiches Wasser hier, was hoffentlich auch für den Kreislauf genutzt wurde/wird)? Ist die grobe Kostenangabe schlüssig?
