I’m writing a little analysis on Hildred but I’m stuck on a few things. First, why is the only thing that Hildred cares about in Constance is that she loves Louis? Second, why does Hildred have so many books about Napoleon? I know on page 12, Mr Wilde mentioned “the ambition of Caesar and of Napoleon” but it sounds like Hildred ONLY has books of Napoleon and not Caesar.
I really like how he’s looking so far. The papers, the veil, and crown are not real (well the crown is just more exaggerated). Wow Hildred is just the cutest thing ever💛💛💛💛

I forgot to post at the start of the month again（ ; ; ） I’ve been lacking behind on my King in Yellow wall cuz I always get confused when drawing him. But at least I drew the True Detective s1 victims! Now I just need to think of more victims. Whenever I’ll lose my interest in The King in Yellow (hopefully never) this is gonna be such a pain to take down
He’s very small but “his arms were magnificently developed, and his thighs as thick as any athlete’s”????? What’s THAT look like???? His left hand has no fingers, he has a dozen scars, and he has like jaundice or something. I’m not the greatest artist to draw someone that ugly so this is gonna be a doozy

I know Hildred already wears a cheap crown, but him wearing a paper crown made out of pages of The King in Yellow would also be kinda symbolic yeah?

I simply don’t believe the King in Yellow would be a pleasant shade of yellow so I picked out a few kinda ugly yellows. But there’s so many ugly yellows that I just can’t pick!!!!!!

This is most definitely the wrong subreddit to be posting this in but I have no where else to go. Now I’ll admit, I haven’t read Don Quixote so I might be saying some nonsense. From what I’ve read about Don Quixote, he’s gone insane from all the books about knights and believes he is one, and he sees his surroundings like the fantasy worlds his books are based in (or something like that). That kinda sounds like a certain someone🤔 Of course I don’t think Don Quixote would want to kill his cousin if he thought he was going to steal his “rightful position” but they share so many similarities in their insanity and how they became insane.

As I was thinking about my sweet baby boy Hildred I started wondering about how different the story would be if actions and/or situations never happened. Like what if Hildred never met Mr. Wilde? Hildred says falling off his horse actually made him better (which is obviously not true) but would he still be that “lazy young man” even after he read The King in Yellow? Unrelated, I think I have a crush on Hildred😳😳😳😳
About 3 years ago I saw a frame by frame animation about a faucet of a bathtub endlessly running until its floods the room with two people in the bath, one a little girl and an adult man (who I think is her father) when the water reaches above their head, the girl still breathes. But the man just lays there, not breathing. I tried drawing how I remembered it. I don’t remember the user who made it
For Christmas, a relative got me my first KiY book! But everything is AI. The pictures for every chapter is AI and even the back description is AI! ITS SO LOW EFFORT I HATE IT.
