A bowing truss rod cover.

I have owned this guitar since 2014, and had been using it for the last 8 years without the truss rod cover, because I lost it while moving. I had just recently found it, and went to put it on the guitar and notice it doesn't seem to fit like it used to.

When I place it on the headstock before I place the screws, it lays flush as you would expect it to be (first picture). But as soon as I put in any/all of the screws, it bows in the center (second picture)

I'm not super handy when it comes to hardware, I just knew when it stop playing around with it.

I can confirm, I am using the screws that originally came with the guitar. Just wondering if this is something I should be worried about or something I should just mention next time it's getting work done to it?

I can't imagine the thought process it took to put this on the shelves. I can't seem to find a price tag on it.

I'm looking to reconnect with an old tutor I had in elementary school, from 2002-2004ish. I was in Spring Park elementary at the time, and was given a tutor through the Letting Older Volunteers Educate (L.O.V.E.) program.

Her name was Joan, I can not remember her last name. Sadly, the LOVE program was used to allow seniors to tutor struggling youth. Meaning, she was a senior over 20 years ago. So I'm well aware of what that means for my chances to see her again.

But if anyone knows of a Joan, that tutored kids through the LOVE program at Spring Park elementary, 20 years ago, or at least knows if she's still around. I'd love to see her again if it's at all possible.

Edit: Sadly, she passed away 2 years ago. https://www.belvederefh.com/obituary/Joan-MacKinnon#:~:text=She%20loved%20people.,Paul%20Society%2C%20Holy%20Redeemer%20Council.
