Kaiju No. 8 has officially been released on AmazonUK

Item Number: KAZ0158

UPC: 191726769064

ASIN: B0G1ZB6YYV

Congrats to those living in the UK! I believe this one can ship to the US through AmazonUK, but there will be a more hefty cost than if you were to do it through Amazon US. So be sure to keep an eye out for a US release! I'm sure we'll be getting one soon!

Kaiju No.8 has been found alive... in the UK.

Don't know if this was already shared here, but these images come from a tiktok video posted by Collector Diary. It was purchased from a shop named Forbidden Plannet.

He looks great! I asked if they could provide a barcode, and hopefully, the item number too! Once we have that, we'll know what to look out for in the States!

"New mask, same task..."

Hello! I wanted to share an update on my custom Dark Deku mask!

In the last update I shared here, I wanted to know your thoughts on sizing. Many of you agreed that the mask was a little big headed, so I went ahead and changed that!

Thanks to Twelve994s5 ( https://x.com/Twelve994s5 ), who shared size comparison photos of the Total Anime and WCF Dark Deku heads, I had an easier time getting the desired scale!

I'm really loving the look of it so far! I took heavy inspiration from other Dark Deku figures. Mostly, the Ichiban Kuji Prize B Izuku from 2023.

This cast is made of eco-friendly resin and is very fragile as it's a thin piece, so I had a hard time cleaning it up, so it's very rough around edges 😅 This was just to test out the mold I made so it's no big deal!

Onto the next step!

Be on the lookout for a post providing a link to tune into the live, which should be shared later today!

The official product images for Gabimaru have been revealed on Amazon.

The figure is not yet available for pre-order, but it should be very, very soon!

Here's my latest attempt at the Dark Deku mask so far!

I'm really happy with the overall look. However, I feel it's still a tad bit too large

I've gone through so many attempts since the last time I shared anything related to this custom piece, so I'm looking forward to getting it just right and putting it behind me soon. 😅

But I would love to hear your thoughts and criticism. If you have any feedback to share, I'd love to hear it!

If anyone remembers, a few months back, we found a listing for a new Total Anime figure under the name Style 3. It was listed as being a third Jujitsu Kaisen figure. It turns out that was, unfortunately, an incorrect placeholder as the listing was updated recently as being for Gabimaru's figure.

There are no photos yet, but they're getting ready!

Jazwares just announced all their SDCC exclusives for this year. Total Anime didn't get an exclusive, which is a slight bummer, but I don't think it should be taken as a sign that the line is ending as other lines like Avatar the Last Airbender also didn't get an exclusive, and that looks to be going strong!

If the speculation of the line coming to an end is true, I'm still sure we'll still be seeing a Total Anime portion of Jazwares' panel at SDCC this year.

If they show off anything new, what would you hope to see get announced?

Hey! Thought I'd share this! I found this photo a while ago, but I thought I'd share it now since Ani-May was a bust, and we haven't gotten any news as of late. The Gabimaru figure is set to be the next figure in the line and might be released late summer or fall of this year.

I was blessed enough to have won a Dark Deku figure through the IG giveaway in May. It arrived not long ago, but I wanted to give some time between receiving the figure and giving my personal thoughts. With that being said, this might very well be the best figure in the Total Anime line so far.

The articulation is what we've seen from the Total Anime Wave 1 Izuku Midoriya as a lot of the parts are reused from that figure. Yet it feels like the quality was improved, and the joints don't feel as fragile out of the box as some of the other figures do. As always, there may be some areas that need a dip in hot water, but the tightness isn't Shigaraki's leg bad.

In my opinion, the best part of this figure is the stern expression it comes with. They really hit the mark with that expression as it looks like just like Deku from the animeb to me. The lips do sit a bit low on the face, but my guess is that this was done to hide the mouth under the cape, which I feel is absolutely essential for this version of Deku so no complaints there.

like every figure in the line, it has its strongest face and its weakest face. Unfortunately, the masked head sculpted is its weakest face. The sculpt doens't look accurate to the source material from any angle (not to me anyway) and definitely takes some getting used to. That is, overall, this figure's biggest flaw. If you can look past it or are willing to display him with the maskless look, then this figure is incredible.

Standing him right next to wave 1 Deku, the difference is night and day, and the line has definitely improved in quality!

Owning all the Deku’s coming from the heavy hitters, I would definitely put this figure up there with Revoltech and SHF. Those obviously have this beat in articulation, but in terms of proportions and accuracy (minus the mask), I would definitely put it up there. Maybe right under SHF and above Revoltech since the Revoltech never quite looked anime accurate to me. It definitely has the Anime Heroes and Figma Deku beat.

I'd love to see Jazwares put this kind of attention and care into the rest of the line going forward! To know that this figure doesn't seem like a priority to Jazwares baffles me. To not fully release this figure would not only be a mistake but it would be criminal!

Here's a closer look at the Total Anime Sung Jinwoo figure. The face plates have been repainted, and the body has a beeb given a matte finish. These images come from an overseas customizer who happened to have gotten their hands on one. The figure looks really good, especially with the added paint details!
