I checked with Kalyan, but they do not add 11th installment, but reduce the making charges.

I bought 24 K 5 gm gold bar from Kalyan Jewelers on 25 May, 2026 with 4% making charges. When I asked them to test it on XRF, they said the reading would not be accurate due to packaging. It displayed 98.4% with packaging, can there be some purity issue or It is expected?

I'm new to gold investment. Has the gold rate gone up today? I was planning to buy a gold coin from Bluestone, price for 5 gm yesterday was 80944 and today it is 86837.

P S. They introduced 7% making charges today.
