Real world data prioritization, Tello vs. T-Mobile postpaid

Hi all. I’m about to pull the trigger on moving my work number, on a postpaid T-Mobile account (Experience Beyond) with a Tello prepaid number.

I know T-Mobile postpaid is QCI 6 and all T-Mobile MVNOs are QCI 7. I know it means that data on MVNOs like Tello is not as high priority as T-Mobile postpaid data, but does anyone have any experience in real world comparisons?

For context I‘m usually in a suburban area who moderate density for a suburb, and I am often in an urban area with high density.

Thanks.

Data necessary if I already have a data plan for my phone?

Hi. I have a phone that can use two active eSIMs. One of those eSIMs is slotted with a plan that has data.

I’d like to use a Tello Build Your Own plan for just a talk and text plan. Would I run into any problems with MMS messages if I have no data with the Tello plan?

Thanks.

Chase Rewards cash back on Visible annual plan

Hello — does anyone know if Chase Rewards for Visible is valid for annual plans? The fine print says the transaction must be for a “subscription purchase”.

Not sure if they just mean month to month in this case

Thanks.

How do T-Mobile discounts work through the Apple Store?

Can anyone in the know explain how the discounts for a new iPhone work when purchased through Apple?

I’ve heard the discounts are applied at the time of purchase, rather than being a discount on the bill over the 24 months the phone is paid off. If this is true, can I pay off the phone early without forfeiting my discount and having to pay the full fare of the phone?

Thanks in advance.

Activation fee on iPhone if buying outright or financing through Apple

If I were to purchase an iPhone from Apple, or use Apple‘s financing options and trade-in value instead of T-mobile‘s installment plan/promotions, would that get around the activation fee T-Mobile just imposed on device purchases from Apple?

I realize T-Mo‘s promos would more than offset the activation of an iPhone, but I’m considering leaving T-Mobile, so the savings from using their promotions/equipment installment plans would be complicated by paying off the full price anyway.

Thanks in advance.
