What Non-Australian actors/celebrities can be in and do you want to be in the Bluey Movie and what role?

I'm sure they will introduce different Australian celebrities to be in it, from different parts of Australia. But, I'm sure they will have cameos or roles for non-Australians as well. Maybe Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie to voice a Barbie and Ken version of a dog each. Probably Chris Pratt because I do see his name a lot, if he were to voice a Mario version of a dog or something. I almost want to say Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will be it as well because he seems to be good mates with Disney and Disney are putting the movie behind it. What do you guys think and who do you want to see who is not from Australia? Why or why not?

Jack's diagnosis, ideas? Justification (And Jack's Dad too).

I think Jack is one of the best additions to the show, Bluey, and I really want to see more of him in the movie or Season 4. Now, I know that Ludo Studios intentionally keeps his diagnosis vague because they want kids and adults to draw their own conclusions in order to relate to him better. They said that he's neurodivergent, but they haven't said exactly what he has because it's open to interpretation.

However, in my opinion, it is very heavily implied that Jack has ADHD or Autism. As somebody with Asperger's Syndrome, I personally see Jack as AuDHD (Autism and ADHD), because I see traits from both. I was very similar to him in Primary School, and I don't have ADHD. I wasn't good at sitting still or listening to the teacher, often I would get into trouble, I wasn't good at doing schoolwork or homework like Jack. I relate to Jack in the way he plays with Rusty in Army, the way he thrives when given clear, structured instructions, e.g. "Sentry duty, push-ups, marching" and how he likes running.

However, I could see Jack as also AuDHD and learning differences, like Dyslexia and/or Dyscalculia because oftentimes ADHD and Dyslexia co-occur in a person (or dog in this case) and he says that he can't remember numbers or words twice in the episode. It feels very Dyslexia or Dyscalculia-coded. But, again, I admire the way Ludo Studios portrays him with learning differences, but that it's not treated as a "big deal" and it's left up for interpretation.

Since we're talking about Jack, another member of the Russell Family who is often assumed to be neurodivergent and has been discussed before is Jack's Dad because his behaviour in Explorers feels very neurodivergent-coded, his chant of "Picking up, picking up, picking up Jack from school..." could be interpreted as stimming behaviour and he struggles to find his way to Jack's school. I related to him because I also struggle with directions sometimes and I zone out, like he does with SATNAV. I see Jack as having AuDHD and Learning Differences and

I see Jack's Dad as having ADHD and maybe Dyslexia too because Explorers reminds me of some of my friends who are Dyslexic or have ADHD. Thoughts?

I think I might have finally cracked the code and figured out why they wear clothes, specifically underwear, in the Bluey-verse.

I have been re-watching some Bluey episodes and as I went back to watch Aussie Girl Margie's videos, it hit me. Allow me to present to you a sound and pretty interesting and plausible theory on why they have clothes in the Bluey-verse, but specifically why they have underwear despite the fact that they hardly wear clothes.

Upon some recent re-watches of the series whilst waiting for new Bluey stuff, it occurred to me that of course they would have underwear in Bluey. Just look at the photo from Bandit and Chilli's wedding, as you can see, she's in a wedding dress and he's in a tuxedo, so the dogs in Bluey would have to have underwear for the same reason as any of us, comfort, safety, hygiene and modesty. Obviously, in real life we wear underwear to protect against bodily fluids like sweat and as a barrier against friction from the clothing. In this case, I think that they would wear underwear to prevent the "fabric to fur" issue.

As for Bumpy and the Wise Old Wolfhound, I don't know why they're wearing the purple underpants, I couldn't figure out that out, but the clothes can help figure out why they have underwear even at all. In the case of Bumpy, I assume it's just because it's based off of a Buddhist legend, but in Bluey they use the purple underpants instead of mustard seeds. But, I think the reason they have underwear is because sometimes they wear clothes, e.g. at formal events or for work, like with Sparky and Chippy or the doctors.

**Okay, I know this is kind of a weird topic, but this is a topic that always comes up about Bluey for why they have underwear or are constantly doing laundry throughout the series. So, this is my theory, let me know what you think.

**Also, fun fact, I think the reason they wear purple underpants specifically is because Bingo is in the hospital and purple is often the colour we associate with health**

Toy Story Headcanons (post some of your own in the comments)

With Toy Story 5 only a month away from release, I've been re-watching the movies again. I thought it would be fun to give you all a few of my Toy Story headcanons. Feel free to post your own in the comments and you can be as creative as you want.

  1. Firstly, Woody's Roundup was a show that ran from 1949 to 1957 and I believe Woody doesn't remember who he is because it's been so long since the show was cancelled and he's been played so many times that his backstory became a distant memory for him, and the same can be said for the other toys, for example when Rex introduces himself to Buzz, he doesn't really remember his backstory. So, in my opinion, the older and the more a toy gets used, they more they forget their original branding or their owner. Buzz is new in the first film, so his backstory is like reality to him.
  2. Andy's Dad was not the original owner of Woody. No, no, Woody has to be older than Andy's parents (who I assume grew up in like the early 80's). I believe Andy's grandfather, so his father's dad was born around the 1940's, let's say 1946, and so he watched Woody's Roundup every week as a kid every time a new episode dropped. I believe he got a Sheriff Woody doll as a kid and then when Andy's Dad was born, say in 1966, his grandfather gave Woody to his son, who went on to give Woody to the Andy we all know and love. So, Woody made it through three generations of the Davis Family.
  3. Woody, Jessie, Bullseye and Stinky Pete were all released on January 12th, 1956, when Andy's grandfather was still a kid. Slinky Dog and Mr. Potato Head were also released in the 1950's and were also hand-me-downs.
  4. Slinky Dog's "birthday" is November 27th, 1952 (referring to the Slinky Dog anniversary) and Mr. Potato Head's "birthday" is May 1st, 1952 (just like in real life). Within the Toy Story universe, Buzz Lightyear's "birthday" is June 17th, 1995 (June 17th being the same day Lightyear had come out).
  5. In Woody's Roundup, Woody and Jessie are actually siblings and the toy versions share a brother/sister dynamic. Bullseye is Woody's horse in the show, but in real life they have dual ownership of it, he just seems closer to Jessie at first because they were in Al's apartment for longer.
  6. Sid was NEVER a bad kid. I will die on this hill that Sid is misunderstood! In the original Toy Story, as a kid, he had wanted to become either an engineer or a doctor and he liked experimenting and "giving surgery" to toys, but then he didn't want to after the toys rose up against him. However, whilst he does become a garbage man in 3, I like to think he still collects interesting, used items and makes them into toys when he is not working.
  7. Andy goes on to study Film and Entertainment in college. I see him as a Filmmaker or a Writer in the future. Disney Pixar's Onward is basically to Andy what Toy Story was to John Lasseter, his brain child. Onward is a movie inside the Toy Story universe and Andy, as an adult, wrote it and directed it based on his own experience of growing up without a father and all the worlds he built out of his toys when he was younger.
  8. Andy was a huge fan of the film, Lightyear and the show, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command as a child and he owned the VHS Tape for it. Buzz Lightyear, Zurg and all the other characters are all based off of Star Wars characters. Andy's mom took him to see Lightyear as part of his birthday gift and it became his favourite movie from his childhood.
  9. Andy was born on July 10th, 1988 and in Toy Story he's celebrating his 7th birthday. Molly was born around 1994 and was almost 1 year old in the first film. In Toy Story 2, she takes her first steps as a 2 year old.
  10. Woody was Andy's favourite toy since he had been a Pre-kindergartener, aged around 4 years old, so three years before the events of the first film and then when Buzz came along, there was a phase where Buzz was his favourite toy because that's what kids do, they can have new favourite toys at any point.
  11. Andy's dad died shortly after Molly was born. Nothing crazy here, I just think it makes more sense than the divorce theories from what we know about Andy. Andy loved Woody so much because he feels like his dad is still with him after all these years, and I believe Andy's dad gave him Woody whilst he was in the hospital to say goodbye to his wife and children.
  12. Studio Ghibli movies exist in the Toy Story universe and one of Bonnie's favourite movies is My Neighbour Totoro from Studio Ghibli, hence why she has a Totoro teddy in her room when she's playing with Woody.
  13. Buttercup came out in the 1980's, similar to Gen 1 My Little Pony and Trixie came out around the late 80's/early 90's and is the Toy Story version of Cera from The Land Before Time, very popular movie when it came out.
  14. Al McWhiggin was also born around the 1940's and was a huge fan of Woody's Roundup as a kid and he owned every piece of Woody's Roundup memorabilia and also loved Sheriff Woody. In fact, I believe Woody dolls sold out really quickly that Al was never able to get one and then sales had stopped after the launch of Sputnik in 1957.

So, those are all my headcanons for now. I hope you enjoy them. Post your own in the comments.

Bluey Headcanons while we wait for Season 4 or The Movie (what are yours)

I have decided to post something I haven't done in a while, whilst we wait for new Bluey content. Enjoy a few of my headcanons about this show.

  1. Firstly, the show Bluey is set in 2018 to 2019 at the start (Season 1 is the year it premiered). Bluey was born in 2012 and Bingo was born in 2014. Season 1 and 2 both take place in 2018, with mid-to-late Season 2 and then Season 3 in 2019, hence Bingo turning 5 and Bluey turning 7. In addition to that, The Sign takes place sometime after that, giving Rad and Frisky time to date before marriage and Grandpa Bob a chance to return home. The Sign goes into the beginning of 2020, I say around 6 months later and around 18 months since the episode Grannies where we see Grandpa Bob for the first time.
  2. Speaking of Grandpa Bob, I don't know if other people have come to the same conclusion, but I do believe he went on a spiritual journey (pilgrimage) in India to "find himself", in order to become a better person to build a better relationship with his sons and granddaughters.
  3. Jack has AuDHD (Autism and ADHD combined) and struggles heavily with attention, rule-following, instructing, listening and sitting still, as according to him in Army. But, he also has dyslexia and dyscalculia, hence why he can't remember numbers of letters. I believe Jack's dad has AuDHD too, hence his behaviour in Explorers (forgetting to put his phone on charge, not paying attention to SatNav, stimming).
  4. I personally think Winton has Autism as well because his behaviours remind me of some kids on the spectrum. Not understanding what Indy is explaining to him, following her, "rocking" Polly back and forth really fast, invading other kids' spaces, as pointed out by Bluey, struggles with social norms and cues. I believe Winton is probably Level 1 Autism (High-Functioning).
  5. Buddy is NOT the grandson of the Old Pug from Granny Mobile, in my opinion. Nothing wrong with this theory. If you choose to believe it, I totally respect that. But, in my opinion, I would like to think Buddy's grandma is a lot nicer to everyone.
  6. The reason Bandit commits to everything with his daughters and joins in their shenanigans even when he's often embarrassed, I believe is because 1) He didn't feel like his dad was very involved in his life growing up. He found him to be a hands-off father, so he works extra hard to put in the effort for Bluey and Bingo because he never had that growing up, and 2) Because of the fact that Bluey is a Rainbow Baby, Bandit and Chilli were so scared about losing her that by the time they had two daughters, they were so happy to see them alive and healthy, so Bandit puts in the effort because they mean that much more to him.
  7. Yes, Chilli did play matchmaker for Radley and Frisky. I would go as far to say she sent the text about Uncle Rad offering to babysit as Frisky was parking the car in the Heelers' driveway. Knowing that his brother was not currently dating, Bandit sent Uncle Rad a text to ask him to come over to babysit and Chilli, because she knew about Bosco, sent Frisky a text. That explains why Chilli doesn't look surprised when Frisky appears. I also think she set up Trixie and Stripe, so she played matchmaker for two of Bandit's brothers and her best friends, wanting to have her best friends marry into the Heeler family.
  8. The fairy we saw in the episode Fairies was not real. Fairies are a made up species and they exist in Bingo's mind, like any 4 year old. Fairies didn't actually mess up the Heeler house, I believe that it was all part of Bingo's imagination and a lot of the messes we see around the house are either exaggerated or non-existent. But, Bingo did pretend to be frozen.
  9. Bluey has a very innocent, cutesy little schoolgirl crush on Mackenzie and vice versa, although they'd never admit it. She does "like" Mackenzie in a little kid kind of way not a romantic kind of way, hence why she dreamed about him in the episode, Fruitbat.
  10. Hercules to Winton is just, in my opinion, an older kid (around 10 years old) who's the son of one of Cornelius' former girlfriends, hence why he knows Winton. Cornelius had dated Hercules' mum for a while and they grew up around the same neighbourhood, so Winton feels like he's being forced to hang out with him, that is until Bluey resolves all the arguing and they move on.

Okay, so those are a few of the ones I like and I've tried not to use ones I've used before in other discussions. If you want, you can leave a comment letting me know what you think and some of your own headcanons.

My personal headcanon for Jack is that he grows up to do something in mechanics or some sort of repair job. Why? People with ADHD or Autism tend to have a high attention to detail and they like to do things perfectly and exactly how it's supposed and mechanics tend to be hyper-focused on mending cars and checking over every intricate part of the engine. I feel like, for Jack, based on how he quickly he caught on in the episode "Army" with Rusty, I think he would enjoy that kind of work as an adult, where he'd have to make sure every car is perfect and it would allow to stay focused and be super engaged. Plus, we know that Jack was the "Dude-a-thron" and Navigator in Space, when the boys are playing space, so I like the idea that he grew up to find mechanics interesting, either that or grows to repair computers. What do you guys think about Jack's job and why?

Firstly, what we know so far (Not Confirmed)

As you all know, The Terriers are a set of boy triplets in Bluey's class who do everything together. But, we have never actually heard their names (OFFICIALLY, that is) in the show at all, we've only heard them being referred to as a trio, "The Terriers" or just the singular version, "Terrier".

According to the Behind Bluey Podcast, while not official by the production at Ludo Studios, they're placeholder/"actor" names are Joe, Dan and Adam, a reference to Joe Brumm and his two brothers in real life. But, this has never been confirmed and from the way they give names to the boys, I don't really feel like they gave any thought into it, but that's just me.

Yes, I know that in the French, German and Italian dub versions, they refer to one of them as "Terrier Joe", but this is my headcanon and I'm actually just talking about the Australian version. I want something more unique than Joe, Dan and Adam.

Here's what I think (in my head)

So, in my opinion, they should have real Scottish-Gaelic boys names because they are of Scottish descent (I think they're Australian-born). I just went through tough little boy names from Scotland or names that I really liked and that I thought best fit the vibe. I ended up naming the Black One (the Alpha triplet) Lachlan, the Dark Grey One, Alistair and the Light Grey One, Rory.

Lachlan means "warrior from the land of lochs", as in Lochness in Scotland and that they like to play warrior games, Alistair means "defender of man", it suits him and it's also quintessentially British, and Rory means "red king" because I just like that name and a lot of Scottish boys are named Rory.

For their surname, I just thought of something that sounds unique and so obviously Scottish that goes with their "For Scotland" saying. I think MacSchnauzer is perfect because "Mac" means "son of" in Gaelic and Schnauzer, as in the breed that they are.

This was a long post. But, hopefully you guys liked it and let me know what you think for Lachlan, Alistair and Rory MacSchnauzer or post your own headcanons in the comments.

Let's make believe that Bluey and Bingo are allowed to go on a Watch Party on the tablet for the day, what are they going to be watching? And they have to be cartoons that exist in our real life, so NOT Mixed-Up Murphy.

I feel like because they both love imagination, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic would be on Bingo's watchlist, as well as Doc McStuffins (she loves doctor games), Sofia The First, Winx Club (she loves magic and fairies), Super Kitties (that's what Cat Squad is), Littlest Pet Shop, Wild Kratts and The Magic School Bus. For Bluey, I'd say SpongeBob SquarePants, because it feels like her kind of humour, Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Avatar The Last Airbender (all seemingly popular with Aussie kids), My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (same as Bingo), Peppa Pig (that's what Chutney Chimp is), Fairly Oddparents, Wild Kratts and Gravity Falls (she'd like the imagination in it). What do you guys reckon?

Disclaimer: Guys, just to be clear, I'm discussing this in the context of innocent little kid crushes, not shipping culture. I too don't like shipping child characters, so I understand. I'm discussing this purely in the context of how little kids show affection to one another. It's super cutesy and super innocent. I am NOT shipping child characters, only super innocent stuff.

So, with that said, I do love how Bluey and Mackenzie completely mirror Mia and Captain's dynamic in the episode, Barky Boats, but in a more childlike way and then Bluey goes and hugs Mackenzie tightly. It feels like the first "fluttery" feeling kids at age 6 get, super innocent playground-level crushes.

As somebody with little cousins who are 9, 6 and with one going on 7, kids do develop crushes and there a normal part of life and childhood development and that's fine. I think it's fine if they develop little kid crushes. My little 9 year old cousin, when she was like 4 would talk about a boy from her pre-school whom she could refer to as her "Prince Charming", but it wasn't romance, like adult crushes, it was cutesy and sweet. So, yeah, I'm not saying we need to ship child characters in media, I'm more saying I like the idea of Bluey have a small schoolgirl crush on Mackenzie and nothing weird going on, just really childlike stuff.

Also, Mackenzie is the only one she dreams about in the episode Fruitbat, not her best friend Chloe, not Indy or Coco, Mackenzie, and she's determined to watch the Chunky Chimp movie because "Mackenzie's seen it".

Let me know what you guys think.

I hope we know all the middle names for the rest of the Heeler Family. So far, we know Bluey Christine Heeler, Muffin Cupcake Heeler and Bandit Custard Heeler, and there's a "C" theme going on with those three.

But, I have a few ideas for Chilli, Bingo and Socks.

Firstly, I would like Bingo's middle name to pay homage to Chilli's mum (Mrs. Cattle) because Bluey's middle name is for Bandit's mum, Chris Heeler (Nana), I think it would be beautiful if Bluey and Bingo were named for both of the grandmas, or even if her full name is Bingo Cattle Heeler, I'd be happy with it.

Chilli, it could be anything, "C" works for Bandit and Bluey who's names start with "B" because it has a nice ring to it. Because Bandit's middle name is for David McCormack, who's the lead singer of the Australian Indy Rock band, "Custard",

I would love it if Chilli's name had something to do with her voice actress, Melanie Zanetti, but I have no idea what she does. I like Chilli Melanie Heeler (née Cattle), but it could really be anyone. Nana is actually named after Chris Brumm (Joe Brumm's mum) in real life, so it could be someone who he knows in real life.

Finally, Socks. I have seen people theorize about Socks' middle name having something to do with "shoes", for example, Socks Stockings Heeler, Socks Sandals Heeler, because Muffin's middle name is Cupcake, and a cupcake another dessert.

In my opinion, if her name was Socks Roxanne "Roxy" Heeler, I would love that because it sounds like Rock-Socks, which her dad referred to her as in the episode, "Horsey Ride", so I like Socks Roxanne Heeler. I think it's very different to Muffin.

Let me know what you guys think and why?

What are your ideas for everyone's favourite Heeler girls' future careers and why?

I have a few ideas....

Bluey: Personally, I find her harder than Bingo because she has so much personality and she takes on a lot of roles in games, e.g. doctor, nurse/secretary, pilot, librarian, shop owner, etc. However, she's a good leader and a very take-charge girl, good at problem solving, able to handle disputes between friends (see Circus). But, she's very imaginative in her role-playing. I like the idea of High School English and Art teacher or Businesswoman for Bluey, any businesswoman. I can see her either choosing to teach a class in fun and creative ways, and mentoring students or I could see her going down the business route. I know Doreen mentioned Scientist, but I feel like Teacher or Businesswoman would be what she would do personally.

Bingo: Bingo was easier for me to decide. I know some people say Doctor/Nurse for Bingo, and I agree that those are strong options for her because she likes to play a very caring doctor or nurse in games, e.g. in Hospital and The Doctor. I have seen fans who see her as an Entomologist since she loves bugs, as seen in episodes like The Weekend, Butterflies, Slide, etc. or an Archaeologist like her dad because she had gone to Easter Island as an adult. But, honestly, she could go to Easter Island for a number of reasons (finding a cure perhaps, or a travelling doctor/nurse). But, personally, my headcanon for Bingo's job is Veterinarian and Businesswoman, like she's a vet because she's shown to love animals (Neighbours, Trains) and she also runs it alongside her best friend, Lila, who's also a Veterinary Surgeon.

I will admit that I mostly headcanon veterinarian for Bingo because I always wanted to be a vet or a veterinary nurse, but I'm autistic and I didn't well in maths or chemistry, so I can't, so I like to headcanon Bingo grows up to be a vet in the future and it's actually inspired by a real veterinary clinic I take my dog to. Bluey is more ambiguous in my opinion, but I think teacher or businesswoman would be fair for her.

Let me know what you think and why and comment below your job headcanons.
