I like voices38's current approach

I really appreciate how he's going through the games based on demand now and if there's a new denuvo title, he goes to it first with exception of something that is still being constantly updated with massive new features like crimson desert for obvious reasons.

This helps so much!

Truly a revival of the cpy era where you don't need to worry too much about "not being able to play something" it's like month or two of patience

[PC][2000s] isometric stealth assassin game — civilian clothes, click to move in city, grenade cutscene, man on ship cover

I'm trying to find an old PC game I remember from the late 90s or early 2000s on PC.

Key details:

.You control only one character dressed like a regular civilian (not in military uniform) but carrying a (likely hidden) gun.

.The goal is to assassinate/kill a target or gather information

.

Movement: Click on areas of the map to move (point-and-click style)

.

Camera/Perspective is isometric or 3/4 top-down, similar to The Sims.

Gameplay starts in a city environment near a house/building

Opening cutscene:

A man and a woman are talking.

He then throws/lobs a grenade out the door or window.

He seals/closes the door right after.

A lot of explosions go off outside

Cover art: Features a man posing in front of a ship (possibly a military or cargo ship).

It felt like a gritty, semi-realistic stealth or mercenary-style game, not a fast-paced shooter or squad tactics game (definitely not Conflict series, Men of War, etc.).

I have a general memory of the starting area but thats it..

Any ideas?
