Going on a European tour next month. I saw somewhere that at one point Italy required permits for certain freqs. Do venues assign these or do I need to file for permits for our shows as the guy bringing the IEMs?

In 1992 I was in a band. Frederick strummed guitar badly and sang like Bob Dylan trying to cover the Clash and got real drunk. I told the other guys I gotta quit or Fredrick's gotta go. They kicked him out. In 2018 I was playing a pub gig for $75 and Frederick was in the audience. He was a lawyer wearing a suit that cost more than my car. He was drunk and mad at me. Why? I ruined his career as a musician.
