Hi, I am not usually on this subreddit but my sister's fiance is taking her to her first reenactment at the end of May and I've offered to sow her an outfit - excluding shoes - I am not well versed in anglo-saxon era and her fiance is a lot more comfortable with male wear.

If I could just get some pointers on materials, I know linen and wool would be the most common, as well as patterns and if anyone has any links to viewing primary sources that would really help

So far there's a lot more videos and examples of Viking garments but obviously I'm interested in England specific

I'm getting a little confused

Ze helpt me/ze me helpt

Hij werkt niet/hij niet werk

These translate the same but do they come across or mean the same thing?

I am from the UK and weirdly obsessed with the idea of American Fast Food, you have so many more chains.

I have a three week trip to Denver, Colorado so would love some suggestions

I'm not allergic to anything and am not fussy

Edit: I am not flying thousands of miles and spending hundreds on plane tickets just to try US fast food. I am visiting friends I haven't seen in 6 years and would also like to try some fast food

Also, with absolute love and respect and coming from a country whose cultural dish comes from India, like it or not, US international branding is very Fast Food centred so unfortunately it is a part of your culture
