Any idea what leather this is?

And just like that, my financial discipline started negotiating. 😅 I already own a pair of Seaweed Crazy Cow in formal last, but this MTO lets me build the exact configuration I wish I’d bought the first time. Someone please talk me out of it… or buy all the Seaweed before I do.

Am I the only one disappointed with the latest Burgundy Rambler?

The pair on the left is from last year’s release, and the one on the right is from the recent run.

To my eyes, the new version is much darker and loses a lot of that rich red wine/burgundy character that made the original so appealing.

I understand leather can vary from batch to batch, but this feels like a pretty significant shift in color.

The newer release looks more brown-plum than burgundy, while the older pair had that deep red wine tone that really stood out.

Curious what everyone else thinks. Is this just natural variation, or do you prefer the lighter, wine-colored version from last year?

The Inferno Rambler leans more toward deep red, burgundy, and wine tones, while the Garnet Rambler shows stronger plum, eggplant, and purple hues. Both shift dramatically depending on the lighting, but the Garnet seems to reveal more purple undertones, whereas the Inferno stays closer to a rich red.

Which shade do you prefer?
