MTOs and Loyalty

Anybody in the know with Truman Boots that can maybe pass an idea their way?

Would it be possible to perhaps have a way to know about the upcoming leather options being offered before going live? As much as I would love to buy every MTO that pops up, it would be nice to know what’s coming up.

For instance, I like the Horse Front leather but if something else pops up in the next couple weeks I might prefer that.

Thanks

Edit: I guess I might be spoiled by Nick’s Boots offering a calendar of their leather of the month. I was looking for something akin to that.

More Juniper Crazy Cow

Looks more spearmint in person than the teal that seems to come out in the pics; tried to show how it looks in different lighting. Couldn’t be happier!

Curious if this is just a sample or for a full production run. Photo from Truman’s social feed.

Seidel British Tan Grizzly doesn't get enough love

My most "factory" boots. Although I had some height added to the heels.

Juniper Crazy Cow MTO Thoughts After Receiving My Pair!

Just received my Juniper Crazy Cow and I honestly love the color. In person, it looks like a muted turquoise green with deep teal undertones that shift depending on the lighting.
That said, I was also a bit disappointed because the leather looks and feels drier and more matte than I expected. It actually reminds me more of my Rambler boots in character. I was expecting something more heavily waxed with a richer sheen like my Seaweed Crazy Cow from last year.
Despite that, I decided to keep them because the color is still unique and really stands out from most leathers in my collection.
For those who own Crazy Cow leather, what products would you recommend if I want to add a bit more wax and sheen without darkening the leather too much?

First full day wearing

Putting in my first full day of wearing. These are so comfortable out the box, there’s really no need for a full break in period in my opinion!!

Discontinuing Size 7?

I’ve noticed that for recent releases, starting a couple months ago, size 7 appears to never be included in new launches or drops.

Has anyone else noticed this, or have any information regarding why they seem to be no longer making size 7?

I could be wrong, this is just an observation I’ve made (as a size 7d wearer)

Thanks!

WTS Truman Stone Rambler 12.5 D

SOLD. WTS/WTT Truman Cap Toe, casual last, in Stone Rambler. I absolutely love this leather but need a 12EE in a Truman Cap toe and a 12D in the plain toe. (I know doesn't make sense right? I have a jacked up big toe that has a screw in it and for some reason it rubs terribly in Truman cap toes in my normal size.)These will come in a Truman box. If you have a trade I will listen (Nicks, Truman, Whites etc) $240 shipped CONUS.

New to me

Picked up these barely worn Cypress Teacore casual last in 12.5EE. I wear a 12.5 D in the plain toe without issue. But the 12.5 D in a cap toe is messing with the right big toe and the one next to it. I had hoped that it would break in but everywhere but there is fine. SO I decided to try a EE and see if that makes a difference and it sure does. the EE is not too wide or sloppy at all.And my toes have the same room as the 12.5D plain toe. I know most have more room in a cap toe and I do in RW and Parkhurst but not Truman for some reason. I will continue to give the 12.5D pair a chance only because they are Stone Rambler and I know I might not come across a 12.5 EE in them.

Truman Boots - Russet Red Rambler 79 Last, Rambler Leather from Charles F. Stead in Leeds UK...

This is one of the most interesting Rambler Leathers from C.F. Stead, the photo was taken shortly after treating it with Bick 4. It is simply breathtaking, even from the side — it feels as though stories are being told here...

Truman Preorders Invisible to Bronze Tier? Need Clarification

Hey Trumans,

Bronze tier here ($0 spend, just recently became aware of Truman, in my defence 😅). Truman's loyalty page says preorders are open to all, but I never see any available to me.

Higher tiers (Collector+) get early access, but does Bronze get shut out entirely from viewing/placing orders until public?

For example, I can see the latest drop Crazy Cow Seaweed listing here https://www.trumanboot.com/collections/preorders-2 but after clicking through i get the following: "Members Only This product is exclusive to Truman loyalty members."

Your account doesn't have access to this product yet."

Am I not a member albeit a Bronze one? 😢

Frustrated missing drops.

Thanks for your patience!

Break in time?

Bought a pair of Java waxed flesh cap toe boots slightly used from somebody. Awesome boots and they are the right fit. These things are stiff! I’ve broken in new boots before. 2 pairs of Iron Rangers, Alden Indy’s, some Thorogoods work boots I thought would never break in, Viberg service boots(long break in period) ect. And I’ve seen them all through and they are all super comfortable now.

But these Truman’s are an absolute beast to break in. I’m not sure how many times I’ve worn them or how many hours, I haven’t been keeping track. Probably all in all, about a month of wear. They just don’t seem to be giving an inch. The footbed still feels like concrete.

Yet I read so many post on here about how they are so comfortable and barely need breaking in. I don’t know, maybe this last just isn’t for me? They seem to fit well. Almost to the point of giving up. Thinking I’m going to wear them every day for the next three weeks and if that doesn’t do it I’m giving up.
