Some boots for sale

I accept Paypal only, all prices include shipping to USA destinations but if you use Paypal G&S fees are on you. All boots include original boxes, and whatever laces are pictured (mostly Pisgah Range), I can add leather laces if needed. Parkhurst boots don’t ship with a reusable box, so something else will be substituted.

Different but the same sort of

I’m getting ready for my first cull of the collection, so I had to take some photos of the boots with the good camera. So why not a comparison? Grabbed some used Edwards on Ebay in Natural Minerva, I guess they are about a year, or two old , and well along the aging process. These things are freeking bright, wear them in the sunlight, and they will see you coming a mile away. I like it ! For comparison sake the Saddle Tan Diesel Boots (4-5 months old but worn a lot), and Tan Essex Brass Boots (about a year old also one of the most worn of the crew) are there.

To my eye , the Saddle Tan is obviously darker, a bit more brown in color (no bueno) , the Tan Essex is a bit more pale colored, not quite as vibrant, atleast not at this time. I guess we will see how they look in a year, but the Natural Minerva has dethroned the tan Essex as my favorite in color. In feel the two minerva’s feel simular, very stiff, or structured leather, while the Essex is very soft and malleable.

Indoor photos aren’t the best, but I’m not gonna walk outside with 10 pairs of boots to take photos :)

Probably a little to big, but still the most comfortable of the Brass Boots I own.

Part of it is the weight or lack of in comparison to the lug sole GS Brass Boots, I think the thinness of the leather also helps in that aspect. Overall just super comfortable, and enough grip for me. Jungle Kangaroo rocks, may resole one of the others to match these.

Every year around this time thousands of Mississippi Kites migrate from South America on their way further north. For some reason hundreds, or thousands will take a pitstop at Onion Creek park. If you look high in the tree tops you may see them, they aren't always as easy to find as you may think. For the next week or two they will randomly show up around sunset, and leave in the morning by 9AM. I have been watching this for a few years now… They are typically around this area https://maps.app.goo.gl/zSfFJNxmcuywohRV8 , but are probably all over the treetops all over the area.

this line across the boot is what remains after walking through wet grass and the bottom half of the boot getting soaked. Is it possible to remove that with conditioning, or is that there forever? These are my favorite boots, hopefully it will come out with some conditioning or maybe saddle soap ? I don’t know you tell me.
