How bad is this? Apparently fine.

Post last week terrified about the large crack. Finally had a loss adjuster round (don’t think he was a structural engineer). Super patronising but you know what would I know, I’m just a silly little girl I guess xoxo

Said it’s fine. The house will fix itself in the winter. Just need to remove a tree and basically poly filler the cracks.

Photos from next door as some scaffolders came in to do some pipe work and one of the blokes knocked later on to say do you know there’s a giant crack 😆

Hoping the council send someone over on Friday. They’ve said almost certainly cat 1.

Is it just me or is this Japanese language school using Connor's likeness?

Looking for long length plain T-Shirts of reasonable quality

A few years ago I bought large packs of fruit of the loom t-shirts in white, grey and navy and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Easy for laundry, they look good and they are reasonable quality.

I'm now looking to replace them, but would like to find some that are longer length. Jacomo sells some but they are somewhat expensive and aren't sold in bulk (packs of 5 or 10). As far as I know FotL don't do long length shirts either.

Looking for shorts with bold patterns

I'm looking for men's shorts in bold patterns. Floral/Hawaiian prints, madras, plaid etc. but having trouble finding any brands offering them. Is anyone able to suggest places to try, ideally shopping to the UK?

I'm a big fan of wearing shorts in the summer, but find that Chino style shorts look a little dull, especially combined with the plain white t-shirts I usually wear. I'm also quite tall so I like to break up my outfits visually. In the past I have found that patterned shorts do this quite well.

I previously owned a pair of shorts from Joe Browns with a Hawaiian print that looked great but were poorly made.

I'm not looking for loud colours or swimwear. Just an alternative to beige chinos.

Wallpaper peeling at Corners due to dampness. Likely causes?

Hello, first time buyer here and I've fallen in love with a property which has serious potential but is in need of some updating. This room (main bedroom) aside from looking a bit tired, has wallpaper peeling off in the corners of the room (left hand side of the photograph, floor to ceiling) and I'm trying to get an idea of what is likely to be causing it.

That wall should be external. I don't think there was a downpipe in that location. There is a partially converted loft on the floor above but it doesn't extend this far so above should be a loft cavity.

Is this something I should be worried about, and is there anything I can do to work out the cause when I go for our second viewing on Saturday?
