From Australia considering Pitt Emergency Medicine — how is the program + social life?”
Hey everyone,
I’m considering applying to the University of Pittsburgh’s Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medicine program. I’m really interested in emergency medicine/paramedicine and Pitt’s program seems pretty unique, so I’m trying to learn more before I apply.
I wanted to ask:
- How is the Emergency Medicine program overall?
- Would you recommend it?
- How are the professors, workload, clinical experiences, and opportunities?
- Is Pitt good for making friends and meeting people?
- What’s the social life like there? Parties, college culture, student atmosphere, etc.?
- How is Pittsburgh itself for students?
I’d really appreciate honest opinions from current students or anyone familiar with the program. Thanks!
