I'm having an issue with a slash two-wheel drive that I bought used. I thought it was a bad differential because it seemed to be locked up. It did not fix the problem.

Admittedly, I'm new to RC cars. Everything looked good in the trans but I wouldn't be surprised if I missed something.

I noticed that the idler arm will push into the trans and the gears will separate. When I pull it back out the gears mesh together and it seems to work properly. But what would cause this much play?

If I wanted to change my battery connectors on the ESC... What is the preferred way? Soldier? Butt connectors? Fancy little copper clips?

I bought my son a mega granite brushed and the motor is fried. I'd like to upgrade to a brushless system.

What is the best way to do this? Are there kits? Better brand names?

Do you recommend upgrading any other part of the drivetrain to handle more power?
