Flew home from our vacation without my fiancé
We were supposed to be in Greece for another 4 days.
Last night my fiancé got way too drunk at the hotel bar and started talking to this older married couple next to us. Somehow marriage came up and he told them he was “mostly getting married because it feels like the next thing you're supposed to do.”
I thought he was joking until the wife looked at me and went completely silent.
We got back to the room and I asked him what the hell that meant. He basically unloaded everything. He misses being single, thinks we got engaged too fast, apparently feels like I pressured him even though HE proposed, and then finished it off by telling me I was ruining the vacation by making it into a big deal.
He fell asleep 20 minutes later.
I did not lol.
Packed my suitcase, moved my flight to this morning and used some of the money I’d been saving for wedding stuff to put myself in first class. He woke up when I was already at the airport and has called me 17 times.
The ring is currently in my purse because I haven't decided what to do with it yet.
Anyway girl dinner is steak, mashed potatoes and the most expensive flight home of my life
