Coolant Leak?

Hello everyone, first time posting here. 👋

I recently bought a used 2005 Yamaha FZ6 that had a swapped engine from an S2 Model FZ6 that was involved in a wreck. Hence my anxiety 😅.

I've noticed a small leak coming from this area on the right side of the bike. After research, I've come to the conclusion that it's a Coolant Leak around the Housing Area. Does that seem like an accurate assessment based on the photos I've provided?

It only leaks after warmed up. Haven't experienced any overheating (yet). Starts fine, runs fine etc.

The fluid is clear and watery — doesn't have an oily texture or smell to it.

The smoke from the exhaust was on a rainy/cool morning and ceased after engine warmed up a bit.

So my main question is: Does this scream cracked engine or Coolant System?

I'm very nervous about all of this and don't know much about motorcycles so that's why I'm coming to you all — the professionals.

Please give me your thoughts and advice.
Thank you all so much for reading.

Any more details/questions, I'd be happy to answer in the comments.

Also, that pic of the dipstick is of my engine oil. Just thought I'd throw that in as it might help with assessment.

Hello everyone 👋

New to riding and have been looking into getting my first bike — Yamaha FZ6.

I found one in Alabama (I live in Tennessee) and I'm asking for your thoughts and opinions on this purchase.

The bike I'm buying is a '05 FZ6 S1 with 21k miles on odometer with an engine swap from an '08 FZ6 S2 (Wrecked bike in photos) with 13k engine miles.

The seller says he swapped the engine from the wrecked '08 along with the Throttle Bodies from that bike so the same fuel mapping is in accordance.

Seller says he's had no issues after the swap and everything still runs smoothly as it should.

Google told me that the ECU needs to be flashed in order for it to run properly but I've also read that it's not necessarily required and people don't always do it.

The engine didn't quite line up exactly which is why you're seeing the misalignment in the last photo. (I read that's normal but can be fixed and seller is going to fix it before delivering)

He's asking $3800. I offered $3500 with delivery from Alabama ➔ Tennessee.

Tell me what you think. Run away or worth it?

I'm open to any more questions about details that I may not have mentioned.

Also, I did a video chat with him and it fired up smoothly with no noises at all and idled cleanly.

Will edit post if I remember any more details.

Seller has been straight forward and transparent. Clean title and verified VIN.

Delivery will be this weekend. Thank you all again.
