Old central vac question.

My friend just bought a house built in the early 90s and trying to see if we can get the central vac system up and running, ideally so it can use a powered high voltage hose and attachments as well.

Right now it looks like the outlets are low voltage and the hose is suction only.

I know he needs an HVAC tech to come out and assess but just based on these pics does this look like something that can be upgraded to a powered system if it just had different inlet plates with the powered hookup for the hose? Or would it need a wiring overhaul as well for high powered connections?

It’s a Budd branded system. The motor on the main unit in the basement says Model #5807.

Why are the bracelets impossible to remove?!

I just got two of the BB58 style watches in, and while I love them and so far think they’re a fantastic value for the price allow me to go on a rant about why the damn bracelets are so damn hard to remove using the tool they come with.

I realize I probably need to get a tweezer style device to do it properly but it should not be this hard.

I much prefer to wear my watches on straps/bands most of the time and this really pisses me off that I have to jump thru hoops to do this.

Just spent 30 min trying to get one bracelet off to no avail.

Never had this much trouble doing the same for any other watch.
