Enemies With Benefits Finale! 🤧

Well… my new ship officially sailed tonight. 😂⛵️

The finale was sooo good and honestly fit the characters perfectly. Their relationship felt so natural and relatable, but ngl… this episode felt more like Jan & JingJing than Lal & Wine. 🤏😂 The chemistry was just too effortless.

That scene where Wine said she’ll be in Japan for three whole months and Lal immediately went into panic/consoling mode had me laughing. 🤣 And Wine’s pouty face?? Absolutely lethal. 😂 I finally understand where Jewel got that sulky personality from, and why Jan always ends up comforting them. 🤧

The ending is what really got me though. 🥹 When Lal said she’s lucky to have found Wine, and Wine replied that she’s even luckier to have found Lal… it honestly felt less like Lal and Wine talking, and more like Jan and JingJing themselves. It almost didn’t feel like they were acting anymore.

I also want to give props to everyone behind the series. The changes they made from the novel actually worked so well on screen, and I genuinely enjoyed them. 🤍 Huge applause to the cast and crew!

I’m officially hooked on the JJJ family now. 😂 Hopefully we get even more projects with them (and please keep Kapook & Ciize around too, they’re a package at this point LOL).

Go watch the finale if you haven’t yet! 🤍

P.S. Any GL recommendations? Looking for something I can binge right now or a currently airing series to suffer through weekly. 😂

The Air: 4 Elements Finale! 🌬️

The Air: 4 Elements Finale! 🌬️ (Spoilers ahead!)

Has anyone else watched the final episode already? It was SO GOOD. 😭 I went from crying my eyes out to smiling like an idiot by the end. It was such a beautiful and emotional ending, and I honestly think it fit Blew and Wayo’s love story perfectly.

One thing that really stood out to me was Blew’s courage. She chose to walk away from everything she’d worked so hard for and follow her heart. That’s not an easy decision at all. Not everyone has the strength to turn their back on family expectations, responsibilities, or the life they’ve always known. It really gave me something to think about.

I was crying through almost the entire first half of the episode because you could genuinely feel Blew and Wayo’s emotions. The dinner scene at the palace hit especially hard, when the King brought up marriage to Catherine in front of Wayo. Freen and Becky absolutely nailed that scene. Their acting was incredible, and you could feel every bit of the tension and heartbreak.

And their wedding at Madelin… DAMNNN. 🥹❤️ It was everything I hoped for.

My second favorite part has to be when Wayo brought Blew home. The conversation with Wayo’s parents was so wholesome and absolutely hilarious. 😂 You can definitely see where Wayo gets her personality from!

But my favorite scene was near the end when they handed the bouquet to Fai and started teasing her. 🤣 It felt like watching a real family just having fun together, and it was the perfect way to wrap everything up.

Overall, another amazing series from FreenBecky. It’s definitely one of those shows I’ll happily rewatch over and over again.

I’m sad that The Air has come to an end, but I’m even more excited for the next book/series, The Fire. 🔥 I already know it’s going to be the most chaotic, funniest, and probably most unhinged one of the four. 😂 I can’t wait, and I’m looking forward to welcoming our youngest sister-in-law too! 🤣❤️

Enemies with Benefits Thoughts?

This is my first time really watching Jan and JingJing together. I’ve seen JingJing in a few other series before, so when I found out she’d finally be leading her own series with her own partner, I was really excited. As for Jan, I didn’t know her before this and only got introduced to her through this series and JJ.

If I’m not mistaken, this is their first series together as the main leads (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong), and I honestly think Enemies with Benefits was a great debut for them. The series really showcases both of their talents, and their chemistry is incredible 🔥

I actually read the novel before the series aired because of JJ. When the first couple of episodes came out, I was a little worried since they changed quite a few things from the novel and the pacing felt a bit rushed. Because of that, I wasn’t expecting too much.

But wow… they completely won me over.

They really brought the characters to life. Their chemistry made every scene more enjoyable, and they portrayed the characters so naturally that it felt like the novel had come to life. Both of them delivered great performances, and the storyline was enjoyable despite some of the changes. I’m really glad this became their first series together, and I genuinely hope we get to see them reunite in another project because I’d love to see more of their acting and chemistry 👏🏻 Hopefully, soon 😆

Since next week is already the finale, I wanted to share my thoughts before it ends. So far, I’ve had so much fun watching this series. It’s engaging, entertaining, and I think it’s a great watch even for someone who’s completely new to GL dramas.

I’d honestly give it an 8.5–9/10, and it’s definitely one of my favorite series I’ve watched this year (so far) 🫶🏻

I officially became a JanJing fan because of this show. And one last thing… Janhae’s smile is just way too cute. 😭 It’s easily my favorite.

Don’t forget to catch tonight’s Episode 9, and let’s all tune in next week for the finale! 💙

I wish every GL pairs has kids too (mascot kids)

I swear I’m way too obsessed with GMMTV’s mascot lore. 😂 I love how almost every GL (and even BL) pair has their own “kid,” and it’s so adorable how the mascots actually act like they’re the couples’ children. The way they talk, behave, and interact with their “parents” is just too funny. 🤧

Lately, I’ve been so attached to Jewel (Jan & JingJing’s daughter). She’s literally so JanJingJing-coded. 😂 And then there’s Lunar… the little troublemaker. I can’t with these mascot personalities. 😭

Now imagine if every GL pair had their own mascot. 😆 I wish EngLot, FreenBecky, and all the other GL pairs had kids too. Imagine all of them going on a field trip together, regardless of agency or channel. The chaos would be absolutely unmatched. 😂

For the 4 Elements pairs, if they each had a mascot, which parent do you think would contribute the most to their kid’s “DNA”—looks, personality, habits, or overall vibes? 😂

For example, I feel like an EngLot mascot would definitely look more like Charlotte, but would inherit most of Engfa’s personality and chaotic energy. 😂 What about you guys? How do you think the other pairs’ kids would turn out? 🤣

The Air: Four Elements Episode 7 thoughts

My first thought on The Air: The Four Elements Episode 7 is about the action scenes. The gunfight sequences were great as always, but the fight scene where Lom got shot in the shoulder and Henry kicked her felt a little off to me. It was a bit disappointing because I know Freen is capable of handling much more intense action choreography. I think the production team may have been trying to save time, so that particular sequence ended up feeling a bit rushed and awkward. Just imagine if they didn’t have to fit the whole novel into only eight episodes, it could’ve been even more intense, hardcore, and cinematic, especially knowing Freen and Becky can pull off action scenes really well.

That said, the romance, chemistry, and acting are still absolutely superb! Even Grace and Henry delivered great performances. I’m honestly a little sad because the finale is already next week, but I’m also excited since The Fire will be premiering right after. Don’t miss The Air Episode 7, and be sure to check out the official trailer for The Fire too!

My Unpopular Opinion after reading “In Love Forever” novel

This might be a spoiler for everyone so read at your own risk.

After finishing In Love Forever, I found myself sympathizing with Ran more than Pheeracha, and I know that might be an unpopular opinion.

Don’t get me wrong, Pheeracha was absolutely justified in her anger. Nobody deserves to be constantly disrespected, insulted, and humiliated by their mother-in-law. However, I think many readers overlook how much Ran was suffering too.

My biggest criticism of Ran is that she should have set firm boundaries with her mother much earlier. If she had drawn a clear line from the start and protected her marriage more aggressively, I think a lot of the damage could have been avoided.

That said, I never felt like Ran loved her mother more than her wife. To me, she was a woman trapped between the two people she loved most. She wanted peace, she wanted everyone to get along, and she kept hoping her mother would eventually change. Unfortunately, that only made things worse.

What makes Ran so tragic is that she was dealing with pressure from every direction. Her mother’s behavior, the tension with her wife, the constant judgment at work, and the lack of a support system slowly broke her down. When she asked for a divorce, I didn’t see it as her falling out of love. I saw it as someone who was drowning and genuinely believed her wife would be better off without all the problems attached to her.

By the end, Ran did choose Pheeracha. She cut ties with her mother and finally stood up for her wife. The heartbreaking part is that she reached that realization after years of damage had already been done.

That’s why I don’t see Ran as a bad wife. I see her as a tragic character whose biggest mistake wasn’t a lack of love, but waiting too long to accept that some people, even family, don’t deserve endless chances.

My thoughts on the latest episode of The Air: Four Elements:

One of the things that surprised me the most, and honestly made me so happy 😆 was the introduction of the Bua Multiverse. 😂 There was no Bua Multiverse in the novel; they only met Bua on the private island. So seeing multiple versions of Bua in the series was completely unexpected.

But honestly? It was such a good addition. The overall vibe of the series has been quite serious, intense, and thrilling, so adding that comedic element was a smart move. It helped balance the tone and gave viewers a chance to laugh amidst all the tension.

Also, can we talk about how hilarious the behind-the-scenes must have been? 🤣 Imagining Bua and Freen having to flirt, tease each other, and do all those cheek kisses over and over again while filming is sending me. The cast probably had so much fun shooting those scenes.

As for Wayo and Blew, we can really see their relationship developing in this episode. Wayo clearly understands what she’s feeling at this point, while Blew still seems confused and is trying to figure everything out. It’s probably the first time she’s felt this way about someone, especially someone of the same gender. She’s still processing those emotions, but we’re definitely seeing progress. Little by little, they’re getting closer, and it’s beautiful to watch. 🫶🏻

I’m so excited to see where their story goes next and what the upcoming episodes have in store for us.

My Thoughts on Jae Seok’s B&B Rules (8.5/10)

First off, the show’s concept is really refreshing. It’s not your typical B&B variety show—it feels more like a retreat where celebrities and ordinary people get to spend time together, have meaningful conversations, and create memories. That’s what makes it unique and fun to watch. It’s rare to see celebrities interacting so naturally with regular guests, and I think that’s one of the show’s biggest strengths.

The first group (Episodes 1–5) was probably my favorite and, in my opinion, the most solid group. Everyone was energetic, and they became friends surprisingly fast. One of my favorite parts was watching the staff completely panic because they didn’t know what to cook or what to do. 😂 Seeing them rush around, worry about the guests, and try to figure everything out on the spot was hilarious. It felt very raw and genuine, like they really weren’t prepared because of their busy schedules. The interactions between the staff and guests were fun, natural, and honestly quite refreshing to watch.

The second group (Episodes 6–10) was much calmer and less chaotic than the first group, but they slowly grew close to each other as well. I don’t think their bond was as strong as the first group’s, but they were still entertaining—especially the dad! 😂 Considering what his profession is, it’s hard to believe he’s that funny.

I also think this group had more emotional moments. The scene where the eldest daughter said her role model is her dad genuinely touched my heart. 😭 And don’t even get me started on Nam Jin’s story. I was bawling my eyes out. 😭🤧 When he opened up to Hyori, it hit me right in the feels. Those moments gave the show a lot more emotional depth.

Another thing I loved was seeing the OG B&B stars, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon, return as guest staff. 🫶🏻 It felt nostalgic and added an extra layer of warmth to the show.

Overall, I’d give Jae Seok’s B&B Rules an 8.5/10. It’s unique, heartwarming, funny, and surprisingly emotional. It’s the kind of variety show that’s easy to rewatch because it feels comforting. Everyone did an amazing job—Jae Seok, Woonseok, Ye-eun, and Kwangsoo were all fantastic. 👏🏻

Now I’m hoping for a Season 2… and maybe even more celebrity guest staff to make things even more chaotic. 😂

My thoughts so far on The Air: Four Elements

First off, the series really lives up to the novel. The pacing feels just right and never rushed, which is something I really appreciate. Of course, FreenBecky did an amazing job portraying their characters. They never disappoint. Their chemistry, expressions, and the way they bring the characters to life just feel perfect.

One thing I wish could be improved is the action scenes in Episodes 1 and 2. They were good, but there were a few moments that felt like they needed a bit more polish. That said, Freen did really well. She looked incredibly cool, and honestly, I’m seeing her in a completely different light now. 😂

Another thing I’d like to point out from the latest episode is the criticism Din has been receiving for telling her uncle about what Lom was doing. I’ve seen people saying that Lom helped Din’s sister when she was in trouble, so Din shouldn’t have “tattled” on her. But I think many people are missing Din’s perspective.

Din’s issues mostly involve territorial disputes between two lands, with some questionable activities involved. Lom and Blew’s situation, however, concerns two countries. Countries. As Din herself pointed out, it’s a national-level issue that goes far beyond what Lom can handle alone. Din loves her sisters deeply and clearly adores Wayo, so her actions come from concern and worry rather than betrayal.

I honestly don’t understand all the blame being thrown at Din. 🙄 Any protective older sister would probably do the same thing in her position.

Anyway, I’m really looking forward to the upcoming episodes!

As a first-time job seeker and fresh graduate with little to no interview experience, I have a question that I’ve been really curious about.

Is it actually required or expected to speak in full English during job interviews?

I understand that if you’re applying to foreign companies or jobs abroad, English is usually necessary. I also get that it depends on the company and even the interviewer/HR. And yes, speaking English can create a good impression and sound more professional, but at the same time, I don’t think language alone defines intelligence or skills.

What about local or domestic companies? Or roles that are open even to high school graduates, even if the applicant is a college degree holder?

In those cases, is it acceptable to speak in Tagalog or Taglish during interviews? Or is full English still generally expected?

Personally, I’m more comfortable expressing myself in Tagalog or Taglish. Not because I can’t speak English, but because I can explain my thoughts more clearly and naturally in my first language. And I believe being able to express yourself properly and authentically in an interview also matters.

Would really appreciate insights, especially from HR people or those with hiring experience. Thanks!
