Robert De Niro worked with 4 of the Cheers actors.
- Raging Bull (1980) with Nicholas Colasanto.
- Guilty By Suspicion (1991) with George Wendt.
- Wag The Dog (1997) with Woody Harrelson.
- 15 Minutes (2001) with Kelsey Grammer.

If Denzel was in The Line of Fire, then the character of Frank would be much different. He wouldn't be scrutinized for his age throughout the movie, and wouldn't be haunted by the Kennedy assassination as he'd be too young. But he'd still be having taunting conversations on the phone with John Malkovich throughout the movie.
I can picture Harrison Ford doing Ransom instead of Mel Gibson, it literally fits the type of drama thrillers Harrison Ford was doing then.
If Charlie Sheen did Point Break, he'd be the same kind of federal agent/cop he was in The Rookie and Terminal Velocity, etc... other than him, the movie would literally be the same. His partner is still Gary Busey, it fits Sheen.
The last one is a joke from Last Action Hero. No I don't really see Stallone as an emotionless cold Terminator with a slurry speech.
These movies are already good the way they are with who they have, this is just a fun what-if. Any other ones you can see?
I enjoyed Escape From Alcatraz, I loved the cinematography & the ominous creepy music. Are there any other movies with good cinematography & edgy music & tension?
I have watched all the other prison movies like Shawshank, Lock Up, Malcolm X, Green Mile. Lock Up had what I was looking for too. They had all the tropes like the main character gets locked in the hole, and getting into a fight with the prison enemy on the yard, the evil warden, etc...
