Purchasing using points

So I purchased a couple of items for my cat... a harness and a toy. I used my points to purchase and paid like 3.00 cash.

The harness didnt fit so I had to take it back and when I did I got 1.90 refund which went to my next purchase but didnt get my points back. The employee said she didnt think I was supposed to get them back. She didnt know for sure but pointed out I got a lot of points and I mentioned that was from what I just purchased.

You are supposed to get the points back right?

Pet perks

I love the points at petsmart for the reason that if im short on cash ive got backup. In order to save up my points I make large purchases when they have decent offers. Like spending 125.00 and use afterpay for 8000 points. Thats decent considering one of my cats will only eat expensive food right now and im pretty much spending that much anyways.

But today I made a large order over 140.00 and took advantage of 15% off if I get same day delivery and points from the order itself and various offers... it should have been over 13000 points but I was only given a little over 6000.

I dont keep track of the little points from each item, just the bigger ones from offers. So missing points seem to happen often.

Is this a normal thing? Does it happen to everyone or am I just extra special?

I take my points very seriously. Ive already reached out to petsmart and waiting a response.

Nervous about xray

I could use some encouragement. Im super nervous. I took in an 8 year old stray, and hes always had this snarffling sound when he eats or sometimes when he breathes. Ive assumed it was asthma. He went to the vet and they gave him asthma meds. But it never really goes away, its just some days its not as notable.

Other days its worse. He goes outside on a harness and on warm days he seems fine.

He has an xray scheduled this week because it got to the point where hes had 3 bad days in a row and im super worried.

I guess im worried that it will be more serious than what I think it'll be. Im just seeking support. My nerves have gotten the best of me and I love my cat to pieces. Hes tough and rough around the edges but ive taken care of him for years only to just be able to get him care he needs.
