Dr K's latest video: results are actually mixed on High IQ and Anxiety/Rumination
Hey everyone, this is in reference to the new video.
Dr K goes off with the assumption that high IQ leads to more anxiety and depression. But on going through research, there are many studies that link high IQ as protective factor against anxiety– with only Mensa's verbal intelligence being correlated with rumination and anxiety.
The actual research is somewhat mixed.
Do you think Dr K is wrongly going along with a core assumption without actually extrapolating its nuances properly?
