A couple of years ago I came up with an idea/concept for an 8-episode modern day Power Rangers limited series, titled ANGEL GROVE. The series draws heavy inspiration from Amy Jo Johnson’s MMPR: The Return comic book series but is set 28 years after the events of Power Rangers in Space. In this version, everything from the Zordon era remains canon, with the original MMPR cast all playing a part in the overall story. At its core, the narrative explores the complex relationships between Kimberly, Rita—now human—and their daughters, but in interesting & unexpected ways. While this is just a fan-made project, I’ve already completed a rough outline for the first episode. - Should I post it?
