15F, bilateral painful breast lumps, complex medical history.
15F, 146cm, 58kg. I have Non-Classic, Salt Wasting Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, for which, I take prednisone and florinef. I also have GERD, for which I take omeprazole. I take tryptophan for anxiety as well as calcium and D3 supplements for brittle bones. I also have Hyper-Mobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I previously took lupron to stop puberty, as my growth plates were closing abnormally fast and I would’ve been 3 feet tall if there was no intervention, along with the lupron, I took omnitrope to speed up growth. Both medications were taken from ages 7-12. I currently have high androgen levels and low levels of 17-hydroxylase.
Three months ago, I was doing a self-check of my breasts when I noticed several firm, painful lumps bilaterally. I went to my family doctor and he ordered an ultrasound. After the ultrasound was completed, the physician working there told me that there was nothing abnormal and that I need to “just keep an eye on it.” She told me that since I’m young, my breasts were still developing and that I needed to “figure out what is normal” for me.
I developed early, I have had breasts for eight years, this I know what is normal for me, and this is not. The lumps are painful and do not get worse at any stage of my menstrual cycle, they have not changed at all since they first appeared.
Can anyone either give me a suspected diagnosis from the information in this post, or if not, instruct me on what tests to ask my doctor for so I can get some answers?
