Cachy/Plymouth dual monitor boot hang - still an issue?

maybe a very stupid question but is Plymouth still on by default w/ Cachy and if so, is there still an issue with it hanging during boot if you have multiple monitors? This was an issue ~six months ago for some (all?) configs. looked around for a bit and most of the issues I find online where people discuss this are from months-years ago.

I know Plymouth can be turned off/there is shit you can do in GRUB to avoid this, just wondering before I do an install

Funny to see as Straw was Public Enemy #1 on this subreddit for years. Kwan is now at the year+ mark of being a markedly below average hitter - perhaps he should have taken that Straw contract a few years ago because at this rate he isn't going to be getting a huge payday on the open market if he hits FA.
