I had very light blue eyes when I was a little child (like my mother), but I've noticed that as an adult they've started to look more like my father's green eyes. What do you think?

I've been growing out my curly-wavy hair for a few months now. My gf is obsessed with it, keeps saying it's way better than short (pic 2), but I'm honestly not so sure.
We couldn't agree so here we are... any opinions and tips welcome (including on how to make the most of it)
PS: Please kgnore the stray curl in pic 1, wasn't exactly a photoshoot. Also I promise it's usually less of a mess as I do use conditioner and shea butter to keep the curls in check (when they let me).
PPS: Face looking very yellow because of mediterranean olive skin+direct sunlight/yellow artificial lighting
