What can I do to improve my chances of getting into vet school?

Current stats:

18yo M.S. Microbiology student working on tick-related disease and deer biology

undergrad research: birdsong analysis of a local songbird, shark olfactory microstructure (scanning electron microscopy), honors thesis on elevated zero maze to assess effect of a gene on anxiety in mice, and a screening tactic to evaluate potential anti-heartworm potential of certain bacteria.

3.56 undergrad gpa, bio honors (coursework: microbiology, biochem, orgos, physics, animal behavior, comparative physiology, biology of fish)

300+ nonclinical animal hours (puppy store associate, cat shelter volunteer, lab mice (used for my experiment), therapy and private horses care)

currently about 400+ hours clinical work, volunteer/shadowing and currently working as a vet assistant.

i would like to apply this coming cycle, 2027-2028 for 2028 fall entry. i'm shooting for small animal or exotic med, UF, and DVM/PhD is also an option. any advice to strengthen my application before then? thanks!
