Vinted experience is getting scammed by sellers on high value items or fleeced by vinted on low value items.

I'm thinking of buying this house which has been empty for over a year and the landlord is selling. It's missing an extractor fan cover on the outside wall (no idea how long that's been missing) and there's some stains on the carpet along the wall on the other side on the ground floor.

Now after two viewings I've finally connected the two in my head and I'm wondering if the missing cover is allowing water ingress that's damaging the floor? Can it damage the insulation too?

I touched the carpet and it seemed to be dry, but it was a sunny week. The inside wall seems ok, the skirting board is not too bad either. The other side has a shower that's not in great condition, so that's another option. The agent said it's just normal carpet wear.

How serious could this be? How hard is it to fix?
