I DID IT!!!

I went back to school after 25 years, and finally finished my BSHS! Sometimes I felt like this school wasn’t worth the headache, and yes the communication and the advisors really REALLY suck, but I’m so proud of myself. I’ll be starting my Masters at an American University soon! Anyone who is in the same boat, keep pushing through!

HS Capstone final power point

Hi! is anyone who has completed the HS capstone willing to share a screenshot of one of your PP slides? I’m just trying to get a feel of what they are looking for. I am unsure how detailed each slide should be, and would love some guidance or direction from someone who completed it and recieved a decent grade. Thanks!

Online Masters for Sports and Recreational Leadership

I applied to this program with what I thought was strong credentials and got a rejection email today. I’m a little shocked. my undergrad gpa is a 3.7, and I have years of coaching and leadership experience. I did not think the program was particularly competitive. I am just at a loss as to where to go from here, as it did not even occur to me that I wouldn’t get into this program.

I emailed and asked for any feedback they’d be willing to give me, incase I have some blaring red flag that is going to keep me out of any other schools I may apply to.

Anyone else apply to this program and not get in? What did you do next?

BSHS Capstone vs Research Methods II

I have one class left before graduation, and I am beyond excited. I noticed when I do my DAR it shows the Capstone and Research Methods II as options in that part of my requiremnets. However, I only need to complete 1 of them. Has anyone choses RM2 over the capstone, or know if that is even allowed? I really enjoyed RM1, and would love to take part 2, instead of the capstone, but it is unclear if the capstone is required or not. I'd ask my PA, but we all know how that goes!
