Help with my recliner. Not really sure if this is the right sub to be asking but it's the only one I could really find-

I have this recliner and it's in good shape, aside from the fact it doesn't recline! It looks to me as if the same plastic piece is broken on either side of the recliner. If anybody could help tell me how to fix this or what parts I'd need to order that'd be a huge help, thanks.

(It's not letting me post videos, so here's a few photos.)

Why isn't there a reprint?

I love Alan Dean Fosters work, "Splinter of the Mind's Eye" has been a Sci-fi novel favorite of mine since I was a kid. Since he's the go-to "movie novelizations" guy, I wasn't surprised to see that he had a novelization of the original script to "The Thing."

Crazy thing is- it's near impossible to find a copy for less than a hundred dollars for a mass-market paperback. People are treating it as a collectible when I genuinely just want to read the novel. My guess is that the estate of John W. Campbell holds rights to publish any books related to "Who Goes There?" while Universal has the rights to anything involving the movie "The Thing."

If anybody has any further insight I'd love to know, I hope one day we can see a rerelease- maybe if there's enough of a fan push we can even get a nicer hardcover release!
