Hey everyone! I’m brand new to Icarus—literally started playing last night.
I wanted to build a solid first base that I could use for crafting, storage, and eventually expand from, so I actually asked ChatGPT to help design a blueprint. 😂
The idea is a 2-story stone house with wood floors, open crafting area downstairs, bedroom/storage upstairs, and room to expand later.
Does this look like a good starter base, or are there things you experienced players would change? I’m especially curious about:
Is this size practical for early/mid game?
Am I wasting resources by going this big this early?
Any must-have rooms or layouts I should add?
Any beginner mistakes I should avoid?
I’m still learning the game, so I’d appreciate any advice or tips. Thanks!

I started working on an excel sheet to help manage completing the game, I just got into the game and didn’t know a lot about the game. I’ve done a couple hours of research to find out what I need to do, watched multiple YouTube videos. So I decided to put together a checklist that will keep track of completion percentage as you check off completed items. Is there anything you recommend to adding to my list? Would anyone want a product like this? Looking for suggestions to make this a better product. Thanks!

I was playing the game and the game suddenly did a hard reset and an error message appeared. When I got back into the game both my knowledge points and attributes were reset. I fixed the attributes by drinking the potion found at Midnight Groove but the knowledge points are still missing. How can I fix this issue?
