Wrong postcode - I got my parcel!

Original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Evri/s/RZFniX1XYD

This is a follow up to my f up of putting the wrong postcode, in a different city, on my order.

Evri gets a lot of negativity so I wanted to share a happy story. I made peace with losing my £70 parcel as I messed up the address. This afternoon I received a phone call from the delivery driver wanting to clarify the address. A couple hours later he delivered my parcel to the address I told him over the phone.

A big thank you to the driver - I appreciate you going above and beyond to make sure I receive my parcel. I hope good things are coming your way.

I made sure to have left good rating/feedback.

Edit: typos

My foot necklace that meant the world to me.

I bought this necklace about 7 years ago in Camden Market, London. It may seem silly but I was very emotionally attached to it. I lost it about 4 years ago and haven’t been able to find anything similar enough since. I think about it ALL the time and I just can’t get over it.

I put down the wrong postcode. Will I get my parcel?

I ordered a parcel and a few days later realised I used my house number, street and city (city Y), but my parents’ postcode (city X). So the full address I provided doesn’t exist.

I contacted the seller but as the parcel was dispatched, they advised me to contact Evri.

I spoke to someone via Evri’s online chat and explained - I provided both full addresses, said I would be very grateful if the parcel went to either of those, mine or my parents’. Evri said they would relay the message to the delivery driver.

Via their app, I selected the ‘deliver to neighbour’ option and selected my parents’ house number and street address. I couldn’t change the actual delivery address.

I totally appreciate this f up is on me - but wondering if anyone had a similar issue and was still able to get their parcel? Or should I lose hope?
