I am sick of Apple fucking us over all the time so I am switching over to a new phone. I am not super knowledge in techy stuff so can the nerds please help me out? I need a phone that is made sustainably, made by a company that is not evil, does not invade privacy, and has a good camera on it. Those are my main needs for a phone. Does anything like this exist? I thought about a flip phone but I’m not sure I want to be THAT disconnected from the online world. Does anyone know about the Nothing phones? Or how to get the Huawei phone in the USA? Is there anything that’s like a mixture between a cyber deck and an iphone where it’s very private and personal but still has access to the internet? Sorry I don’t know anything about phones which is pretty sad. Any suggestions?

Hi I am a marine biology student and I would LOVE to buy myself a little low-tech microscope to travel with to find nudibranchs, Bryozoa, crustaceans, and little invertebrates where ever I go. Any recommendations? I am willing to spend the extra money for a high quality one but not too much because I risk dropping it in the ocean or getting it messy since I plan on traveling with it and it’s just for a fun hobby, not for research. What is your favorite portable microscope? ☺️
