What underrated piece of equipment should more people try?

One multifilament string I've only seen 2 posts ever online is Volkl V-Feel, confusingly named the same as one of their racquets so hard to search for online. One of the two posts said it was too stiff but it feels super soft to me, and with as much spin as a poly I forget I'm playing with a multifilament!

What is your current set up and why?

Since the start of this year I've been using the 2022 TF40 305 16x19, with Volkl V-feel at 53lbs, and Babolat Pro Response overgrips.

About to try new tennis balls too; Technifibre Soft and Yonex championship! What is your go to at the moment?

What are the best and worse racquet names in your opinion?

Inspired by the new Wilson Python -> Redline -> Wildfire, (each name getting progressively worse in my opinion), I'm interested what racquet names you think are cool/fitting and which you think sound bad/ill fitting.

For example, I really like the simple Babolat names of Pure Strike, Pure Aero, and Pure Drive. And while I like the racquet itself, I also thought the Prince ATS Textreme Tour was too much of a mouthful.

Is anyone else addicted to trying/buying everything once?

Anything besides racquets basically, as they are so expensive. But once I have the right racquet for me I always keep buying/trying new string brands every time it is time to restring if it doesn't feel like the perfect one for me. Same with tennis balls, shockeys, and even overgrips too!

Maybe it never feels right because of the racquet, but (hypocritically of me) I also don't get how people can buy 10+ racquets etc haha, instead I am constantly changing everything else trying to optimise it/what I like to use the most.

Has anyone tried the new Prince Tours yet?

If so, what did you think? From my recollection, the previous model had one side of the throat shaped/twisted almost like an aero, with the other more rounded as a different shape? Seems a good idea for more aerodynamics/spin but I wonder if it would hinder you swinging the ball with the racquet flipped around the wrong side...

Aside from how it plays, I'm saddened they turned the white paint job into a black racquet, but happy to see that they are now glossy.

Does anyone have any information on the specs for the new Prince ATS Tour racquets, particularly the 305g 98?

I see posts for it as back as last year, and a new TW podcast video on it today, showing the racquet, but still no official specs e..g how much stiffer the RA is now, how high the SW is.

For me, having a better backhand than forehand, I find it interesting that my backhand has become worse than my forehand when not playing as much as I used to. I don't know why this is!

I've also found that I still can hit the ball hard and have muscle memory of all the shots, just less accuracy and a step slower when moving around the court.

Does this match what you feel happens to you when you stop playing competitive matches or training and just do social hitting for example?
