Hindu Religion Students at Deakin

There is currently no active Hindu religious club at Deakin, despite a significant number of students. Exists at many other unis like Monash, UTS, UNSW etc but not at Deakin. So instead of waiting for someone else, we have taken the initiative to start one.

The idea : The club would focus on religious and spiritual practice along with social and cultural fun events. The goal is a club that serves both people looking for a spiritual community and those simply looking to connect with others who share a cultural background. And it will be open to EVERYONE, and not just students with Hinduism background.

Starting Gym / Strength Club at Deakin. Looking for founding members.

Hello everyone,

I'm starting Deakin Strength Club — Burwood's first dedicated student strength and lifting club, working toward an official DUSA launch in T1 2027.

The idea: a proper lifting community for Deakin students, Deakin already has sports society, runners club, and other sports club but no dedicated lifting / gym society which is open for all levels of experience, complete beginners with no experience, and safe for all genders. I have seen similar clubs already in University of Melbourne so thought to establish one here as well.

What we're planning:

Weekly group training sessions
Beginner lifting clinics
Nutrition workshops
Social events and member meetups
Competitions / Challenges

Just submitted my assignment and realised the marker probably won't read most of it

So I just submitted my last assignment. 35 pages and right after hitting submit I had a thought that I can't stop thinking about.

There are 200+ students in this unit. My assignment is 35 pages. That's like 7,000 pages of student work that needs to be marked.

But what if the market gets tired in between marking? will they even read it all?

Because I spent so much time making sure my analysis was correct, my calculations were right, my arguments were good. But did I write it in a way that's impossible to miss on a fast, tired read?

What I think is :

Markers work from a marking guide. They're scanning your response for expected keywords and concepts. If they find them fast, marks go on. If they don't find them quickly, they move on. They are not hunting for your best insight buried in paragraph three.

I need your guys opinions on this -

Case 1 - If one student doesn't explain a concept exceptionally well but the tired market reads the keywords and give them good grades.

Case 2 - Other student explained the concept really good but will a different terminology or added something important that would make them achieve more but it might probably might get unnoticed by the marker.

Group Assignment Help

Have a group assignment due in 15 minutes. The work is already finished. We are 3 members and one member needs to upload the word and other 2 just need to click 'Submit' on their moodle.

I have already uploaded the file and submitted, and one other member has also clicked 'Submit' on moodle but the 3rd member hasn't clicked 'Submit' on moodle and due to this our assignment would be left as draft and won't be submitted.

He isn't picking up calls, not replying to any messages since 2 hours.

Due to this, we would get flagged for late submission penalty. Need advice.
