Pic 1 pre op, Pic 2 day 3, Pic 3,4, are at day 10. Rest of the pictures are now at almost 9 months

I went to trichogenics in September 2025.
All of the logistics were smooth and the hotel was nice. Communication was also good. However, It seems they aren't in Greece anymore (after moving there relatively recently) There's threads on other forums too which are very extensive (not sure if you can name it here) While yes, it's certainly a big improvement from before. I still think their was a low yield and poor planning considering the front is wayyy less dense than the back.

Here's a quite summary of the pros and cons

Pros:

Donor in decent shape due to even extractions

good directions of the hairs

doesn't look unantrual necessarily

didn't use too many grafts (kind of a con too)

seemed like ethical doctors and very nice people if that counts for anything

used single hair grafts in the hairline

cons

poor yield/not enough grafts

not enough communication about having a different doctor perform my surgery

i was also made aware from another review that they don't use the trivilini machine and store grafts in hypothermosol solution as is in their marketing

Dr who worked on me was a trainee doctor

my main concern is a combination of lack of yield and not enough grafts to cover the area. What annoys me the most my lacking density in the front 1/3. i really don't know why they didn't put more focus into it. it's looking very sparse compared to the rest of my head. i would have happily had a less dense midscalp and a very dense front 1/3. i trusted them at the time that they'd give me the most density in the correct areas.
My transplant was over two days with 3600 grafts overall. While I had the video consultation with Dr Asi, Dr Eric was the one present on the day of my procedure. Eric was also joined by a younger doctor called Despoina who basically preformed my surgery with Eric coming into the room and checking up. At the time everything felt normal and smooth.

However, judging by my results now something clearly went wrong. I think the moral of the story is to know 100% what doctor is going to be working on you. Furthermore, just because doctor x has an association with doctor y, doesn't mean they are going to do a good job. Look at independent reviews. It seems they have great marketing and are very popular on tiktok.

Also, to be fair there was a patient who i met the day after my procedure who seems to have an excellent result. However, there was another patient who went a week or so before me who seems to have had very little growth at all.

the question is, how many grafts for my 2nd procedure? i'm hoping i won't need too many.

I know some of you will say "it's only 9 months" and "let it grow" but it's very unlikely i'll have the required density for a good result. If by some miracle it looks way better in the next few months i'll post an update and edit this one.
chances are very low it seems and i'm sure it will look better with longer hair but it's clearly not dense enough. I'm sure growing my hair will help a bit but it's unlikely it'll help that much conspiring my scalp is still get visible in some areas. One of their slogans they've used is "hair freedom" well i certainly don't have that now :(

I'll add that Eric did say he'd fix it for me if the growth isn't good.

a bit of a rant but i really thought id have my desired results with just one surgery, im still wearing caps and i dont even want to think about starting to date again because of my hair.

Have I taken the bulk too far

68.5kg-75kg in 7 months. I plan to do a mini cut for 5 weeks and lose 4-5kg in a 1000 cal deficit per day. Or do I slow things down and continue with my bulk. roughly gained 1kg per month but i kind of want to slow things down after my mini cut.

8 month progress.

What do we all think? I'm sure it will improve but I may need a top up. Same lighting and also 1 month after a 0 on top.

1st pic 5 weeks
2nd pic now
