Losing muscle body fat % staying the same

I am a male 5’7 200lbs and 137lbs muscle mass, ive been having an issue with maintaining my muscle mass while also shedding body fat I’ve lost inches around my mid frame I was up to 141lbs muscle mass and it’s it’s slowly been dropping while my body fat % has stayed about the same my protein intake is about 120grams a day I lift 3 days a week right now and my work is a lot of moving around I count as a cardio it’s around 20-25k steps a day. I’ve maintained about 500 deficits for 4 weeks. Looking for advice how can I cut more fat I feel most of my weight loss is actually from muscle loss not the fat burning I basically just get stuck at 200lbs and muscle mass goes down body fat stays the same.

183 cm (6’0”) | Left: 92 kg, 203 lbs (March 1st) | Right: 78 kg, 172 lbs (Today July 6th)

183 cm (6’0”) | Left: 92 kg (March 1st) | Right: 78 kg (Today) – Should I keep cutting?

I actually started this journey at 106 kg (234 lbs) on December 1st, but unfortunately I don’t have any photos from back then. The picture on the left was taken on March 1st, when I was down to 92 kg (203 lbs) The picture on the right is me now at 78 kg (172 lbs).

I know this has been a very aggressive cut, and I’m fully aware that it’s not the approach most people would normally recommend.

Throughout the cut I’ve had around 2–3 cheat days each month, but other than that I’ve stayed very disciplined and consistent with my diet. I also took a one-week refeed about 1 month ago, where I brought my calories back up to maintenance before continuing the cut.

The reason I’m posting is that I’d like some advice from people who have done a long, aggressive cut. Would you keep cutting if you were in my position?

Physically, I actually feel surprisingly good. My energy levels are still decent, my training is going well, and I don’t really have much brain fog or other symptoms that people often describe after dieting for a long time.

My goal is to get truly shredded, so I’m also wondering how much more weight I realistically need to lose. Based on how I look now, do you think I’d need to get close to 70 kg (154 lbs) or even below that, or would that be overdoing it?
I’d really appreciate any advice, especially from people who have gone through a similar agressive cut.

Advice for a skinny fat guy. Lost and need help

5’8 160lbs

Ive spent 8months trying to recomp. Eating maintenance calories and lifting 3-4 days per week. It’s going so slow and I want to bulk. But my body type stores fat in the midsection. I’m skinny fat. What do I do?

I don’t have enough muscle to cut yet. And I can’t bulk cause I’ll get a big stomach. This is so annoying.

Should I keep losing weight to lose love handles?

I'm 183cm at 76.5kg. I'm worried I'm getting too skinny with no muscle, yet I still want to cut and lose the love handles.

I have a hard time understanding what I look like so harsh but constructive criticism is welcome 🙏

And yes i may have gyno. Although it's going down slowly with weight loss. 🤏

I plan on bulking nonetheless I just want to make sure I have a long runway before I Jump into it.

Need advice on how to get bigger and correct my posture at the same time

Hi guys, I need advice on which specific exercises/muscles I should focus on to correct my posture, my head and neck is not in lign with my upper body because of phone and laptop use since childhood.

I have always been so skinny ever since. I cannot eat too much due to intestinal issues, and even if I eat too much protein and everything I still cannot gain weight.

Any advice guys?

How do I look like this? (I am the third pic)

So I train till failure and I also do progressive overload, I am 5’11 and I weigh 160 lb and have been working out for 3 and a half years so far. Consistently, I eat 3k calories with the proper nutrients such as protein gram/lb with the right amount of fiber and fats, etc. I make sure to take 2 rest days then get back to it.

My back and arms routine

- Pull-Ups: 4×5–8
- Seated Cable Rows (V-bar): 4–5×8–10
- Rear Delt Flyes: 4×12–15
- Kelso Shrugs: 4×8–12
- Barbell Curls: 3×8–12
- Overhead Tricep Extensions: 3×10–12

For the few of you that asked that’s my day 3/3 program for my physique and just for rugby. I’ve been using it only for a few months or so but I can say it’s worked quite well. Is there anything in my programming I can fix?

Help! Newbie here

I’m 6’3, 205lbs
I'm completely new to working out and trying to get into shape, but there's so much information out there that I have no clue where to start.
If you could go back to Day 1, what would you tell yourself? Best beginner advice, workouts, or mistakes to avoid?

5’6” 132 lbs - Lean bulk?

I was around 140 the beginning of this year and got down to 132 through increased activity and a slight cut. I leaned out but I don’t think I have the level of muscle definition i’m hoping for. How much weight do you think I should gain? I’m maintaining at about 3k cal so it’s hard to bulk I’m just worried about gaining too much fat. Thoughts?

Edit - Yes I am trans male. I’ve been on test for multiple years, looking to gain size with minimal fat gain.

will that bulge give me a 6 packs when i lean down more or do i genetically have 4 packs? (sorry for the weird picture btw)

Actually, there are two more small packs right below my chest, but I'm not sure if they're ribs or abs, so I don't count them—they look weird anyway.

Building more mass

Always been a more slender dude with long arms for my height (only 5 ft 6 with a 5 ft 11 wingspan) I've put on about 25 lbs as my metabolism has finally slowed a bit with age. So I've hit kind of the weight that I always wanted (from 130 to about 155 now But now I want to build more muscle. Especially in my arms. Played sports all the way through college and was heavy into weight lifting, and a ton of cardio and endurance work through my mid 20s. Now 29. I've never been able to get my arms bigger like I want no matter how much stronger I got. Any tips on how to build my arms? And any tips on building that mass I want while kind of staying in my desired range of 145-155?

Does my upper back have any definition yet?

I started at 350 pounds and am now just below 200. I want to lose another 20-40 pounds but my upper back is my leanest area, and just wondering if you can actually see some definition here or I’m being delusional? Totally fine if not. I’ll just work harder!

Squat form tips (check description)

Background: Lifting 3 years consistently(ish), squat PR was 365lbs(165kg) x 4, haven’t been in the gym consistently this year and dealing with tight ankles/hips.

I’ve been under a lot of stress recently which is probably my upper body is super tight, I also have a nagging upper traps/lev scap injury.

Since coming back, I can barely do two plates without a bit of back pain and my wrists killing me. Should I switch to a different squatting style (low v high?)?

Looking for any tips, since coming back it is almost like my body forgot how to do a proper squat.

Thanks for any advice in advance!

Can a minimalist full body routine still build an aesthetic physique?

Life is getting busier with work, school, and family, so I’m trying to simplify my training.

I came from a 5 day bro split with cardio after every workout, which I loved. I recently switched to a minimalist full body routine so I can lift 3 days a week and do cardio on my off days.

Full Body A
Pull-ups
Dips
Squats
OHP
Biceps/Triceps superset
Full Body B
Bench
Barbell Rows
RDLs
Lateral Raises
Biceps/Triceps superset

I’m 6’3”, 169 lbs, and my goal isn’t to be huge
just build an aesthetic physique. Assuming I’m in a calorie surplus and progressively overloading, is this enough to build muscle, or is it more of a maintenance routine? Most people I lift with say full body is mid for muscle growth, so I’d like to hear some opinions.
