Starting bulk.

Starting a 4,000kcal, one hour in the gym everyday bulk. Trying to gain as much mass as possible. Starting with before pictures and to me my “pec” area just doesn’t look normal. Is this due to a lack of muscle? Are those just tendons? What workouts would you recommend? To failure? Reps? What do you guys do?

23 6’6 100kg am i making good progress

6'6” and 100kg trying to push to 110kg looking for advice on transitioning into a proper heavyweight bulk

Hey everyone,

Long story short, I’m 23, stand at 6'6”, and right now I’m sitting around 100kg. I started taking lifting seriously last October when I was down at 85kg, but I only really locked in and got intentional about my weight gain strategy about a month ago. The end goal for me isn't to look like a shredded fitness modelI want to build a genuinely thick, massive, powerful frame with some proper old-school beef and mass. I'm completely fine taking up space.

Here’s where my numbers and setup are currently at:

The bulk rate: Aiming for a steady gain of about 0.5kg a week up to 110kg.

Food: Tracking 3,190 calories a day split into 219g protein, 106g fat, and 338g carbs.

Training: Running an upper/lower hypertrophy split based on Jeff Nippard’s fundamentals program, focusing heavily on compounds, progressive overload, and building a solid strength foundation.

I’d love to get some thoughts from anyone who’s been down this road, especially the taller or lankier guys:

Calories & rate of gain: At 6'6" and 100kg pushing toward 110kg at 0.5kg a week, does 3,190 cals sound like a solid sweet spot to start, or should I expect to bump that up as my mass increases?

Appreciate any advice, critiques, or shared experiences. Cheers!

M27 1’77M 120KG -> 100KG -> 85KG -> 75KG. Should I keep cutting?

Been slooooowly cutting for 2 years aprox, and I’m having trouble loosing more weight (even if I wanted visible abs).

I’m starting to see myself too skinny, is it just me? Should I bulk?

Training is normal, food is normal (focusing on protein), I don’t weigh food or count calories, I don’t take any gear.

Any help is appreciated:)

Routine advice/suggestions.

40 yr, 5’6. 140lbs

back issues are a consideration, would like to effectively add muscle evenly overall.

Currently two heavy lifts (90 mins), two HIITs (45 mins), 1 dedicated PT/mobility workout a week, walk 10 miles a week.

Overweight concern trt

Hello, had been feeling super fatigued and tired and I figured it was due to my weight loss, currently on Reta and I’m down 34lbs from 277 to 243, had labs done and testosterone came back really low, clinic recommended dose of 180mg week, I asked if it was okay to take due to me still having high body fat and aromatizing, wanting to get you guys opinion on what I should do. I am 28 yrs old 5’9

19M 5'8 121 lbs, I don't understand how I'm underweight yet don't look underweight..

I'm 5'8 and 121 lbs for reference but I genuinely don't understand because it feels like I have a lot of muscle and I'm not skinny at all.

I got a DEXA scan done and it said I was 17% bodyfat. I need to cut down to 14-15% bodyfat desperately but that will require me to go down from 121 lbs to 117 lbs, and I really don't think it will make me look that skinny because I don't look skinny to begin with.

How is it that I'm 121 lbs yet I don't look frail or super skinny?

Would it be safe to cut down to 117 lbs at my height? It's only a 4 lbs decrease from where I'm at and would ensure I go from 17 --> 15% bodyfat

Couple of quick questions

Hi everyone, I workout at home when I get the time, usually 3 or 4 times a week. My main question is how do I stop my knees buckling during squats? I'm not at a particularly heavy weight, around my bodyweight doing 5x5, I focus on form over max weight because I think it's safest since I workout alone. I have gone up to 10kg over my bodyweight before and know I could do that again but it would always result in my knees buckling inwards. It doesn't cause pain and my legs ache as expected, but I would like to continue progressing with correct form.

My second question is I have a 6 day program targeting different muscle groups, but this means that even when I have the time to workout 6 times in a week it means I'm only working each muscle group once per week, and because I'm very busy with work and other things I feel as though my 3-4 p/w, training each muscle group once every approx 2 weeks is something that could be improved. Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on this? Thanks for reading

What do I work on to improve my build?

36M 6’3” 180lbs

Coming off a 15 year hiatus lol and I’m not sure what to focus on? I feel like I’m a blank canvas where I could go anywhere. I’m just not sure what to do and can’t afford personal trainer. I’m about 2 months in and this is right after back/biceps day.

Right now I’m focusing on form with compound exercises, should I be doing anything else?

I’m not calorie counting but my general diet is: 4eggs with 4 whole wheat slices. 2 scoops of protein with creatine, chia, flax, hemp hearts, and some other green powder idk. Lunch and dinner are the same at 2-3 chicken thighs and 2 sweet potatoes (for each meal).

Also this is me realizing that my left arm does not hang straight lol idk what that’s about

M18 5’9 ~158lbs

~10-15%bf

Hey everyone! I’ve been working out for about 2.5 years and I’m happy with my physique, but I feel like my proportions need work and I really just wanna look aesthetic, I’ve seen people at my height that look huge and weigh less than me. I feel like my lower chest and side delts are a little lacking, and my waist is a little big. I wanna just overall look more aesthetic and would appreciate any advice given.

Attached is two photos of me and one of a desired physique

Thanks!

Dieting questions/protein intake

I've been in a deficit and lifting for 6 months, and I've lost 30 lbs. I haven't tracked any macros and feel like I've hit a stump. Could I simply be lacking in protein, and that's why I'm not seeing any more progress? I do progressive overload lifting 4 days a week. How important is it in my phase to be tracking everything I eat rather than just calories?
