It's one of the birthday gifts for my friend or more of a work wife.
Trying the starry night colours. Learning a lot on how to make better circles. I'll try to stitch the last two remaining circles with less spacing and 2 strands threads to see the effect of a circles rather than crooked arcs. After the circles will make swirly lines to complete the illusion of the starry night.
Any tips feedbacks are welcome. 🙃
Completed this piece for my best friend. One thing I learned that I need to have a proper sketch ready if what to embroider as there are no chances of fixing any stitch later like on fabric. I only made the woven roses and then completely improvised the rest so it's a bit messy but I love it, it's a pretty mess I would say haha.
Finally trying photo embroidery after looking at Pinterest pictures for months and I'm happy with the progress.
I have to admit, making leaves on paper is really hard and since it's my first piece ever I'm trying different type of ways to embroider leaves on paper to see which one looks the best.
I would appreciate any advice for paper embroidery from you lovely people. Anything, even unrelated to what I'm doing because I have a lot of pictures that I would embroider in the next 2 months.
Lots of birthdays and festivals are coming so I think I'm busy with at least 8 more picture embroidery 😅
12 days of no smoking again. I relapsed in April and for 3 months I had been smoking joints again. I have stopped right now but not by choice or will power but because of health issues again. Throat is fucked up due to various reasons and now I have ulcer in my throat that is taking ages to heal.
It's really hard. I am not able to quit joints. Anything else is not at all an issue for me but smoking to get high is my poison. I'm really tired. Last time I quit for almost 3+ months but it was also because of health issues. It's a very unhealthy pattern. I really believed I have control now so I smoked up once thinking I wouldn't pick it up as a habit again but damn, back to square one.
I'm really feeling defeated. Trying again but my confidence is fucked. I know I won't smoke for a while again because how tough it is to recover from health issues. I'm just hoping when I get better I don't repeat the pattern again. I really need help. 🥲
This is my 3rd embroidered phone cover. I'm really happy with how it turned out :)
Can anyone suggest any pins or any tool to poke holes on paper? Since I needed to make small holes, it was tough. I usually use my protector but for this it was too thick. So I used those pins to fasten fabric while sewing with the round plastic head but it was not convenient at all.
