I am not paying 14$ for a 6inch sandwich that tastes like dirty socks

Man i was super hungry and i had no choice but to buy a sandwich at Subway for 14$, the worse part i was crying for my money while eating that. Well i decided to make my bread and sandwiches at home to see how hard it could be. I ended up with a better sandwich at $1.30, and i used things that i usually get for groceries and had in the pantry. I think i won't be going back now, i'd rather put in the effort and save money while eating good.

I think i got it, the kfc spice blend

I've been experimenting with a lot of recipes found on the internet, this is the closest i've been to the original taste i remember kfc fried chicken, not the salty crap they're selling now. For texture i stumbled onto a technique from a chef in uk.

I will share the exact recipe as soon as i can, pretty lengthy process but pretty confident thats it.

I've been making mayo at home something's missing

I lately started making mayo at home but not sure feels like something is missing, it doesn't quite taste like the mayo we buy. I mean i know its not going to be exactly the same. Not sure what to change, here the recipe i am using:

1 egg

1 cup veg oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp dijon mustard

Pinch of salt

After years of trial and error, i finally found something that works for me, i got 550 subs

I've always wanted to do YouTube, but I was never able to get anywhere. After years of trial and self-doubt, I finally locked in and tried a different approach. It seems to be working for now. I hit 550 subs, and I'm extremely happy.

The most important thing this taught me: there's a lot more to making YouTube videos than I thought. There's still a lot of room for improvement, but I try to improve one thing at a time for each video I post.
