The guy (M25) I’m (F22) talking to keeps saying I don’t know

Im talking to this guy, this guy I matched on an app, and he keeps saying he doesn’t know what he’s looking for, and that he needs time to figure things out. We’ve been talking for almost two months. Why do men say stuff like this??? I’d really like to hear the men say their opinions on this one, the women are more than welcome to as well :)

Why would he 27M not commit/pursue me 26F???

M talking to this guy we matched on a dating app. We’ve only been texting for 1 month, no calls no plans to meet up. I ask him what he’s looking for he goes i don’t know, im not sure. He never complimented me either. Why do men do this? I don’t have no brothers or guy friends, a males perspective would greatly help. **we are not exclusive he never brought that up. This guy would mostly text me during weekends. He would sometimes text me once a day at night time.

This is our convo

So basically I asked him how much more time do you need to figure out what you’re looking for. He goes idkkk. so I said why talk if you don’t know what you want. He goes idk what I want from life and so many things, so why be so sure. Then I said, idk why we’re talking idk where this is going. He then said it can go some where I guess.

Met potential, feeling confused

A potential came over to my house to meet me. He checks all the boxes, he looks very good on paper as well. Everyone in my family loves him, but there’s something. When I first saw his photos, I wasn’t into him bc he’s not my type, so I said no. I agreed to meet him in person because my parents really like him. I saw him in person, and I imagined what life would look like with him. He would make a great husband, I can 100% trust him, he has an excellent character. However he’s not my type, I can build attraction if I try to, but it would always bother me that he’s not my type. I feel like I would compare him to all the other guys I’ve liked in the past, and feel bad with who I ended. My question is should I give it a try or just say no and move on? I’m asking this bc my parents really like him

Parents in love with a potential I’m not even interested in

So my parents ended up arranging a whole meeting with a guy I’m not even interested in. They told me to give it a chance and see him in real life before I make a decision. He’s not my type, I’m not at all attracted to him. I told my mom I’m not interested in him, and she’s not convinced. I’m so annoyed, I don’t know why parents do this. If your kid is saying they don’t like what they see, move on to the next potential, it’s THAT SIMPLE. The thing is they’re not even looking at any other potentials, because they’re SO fixated on this guy.

Parents pushing me to meet potential

I’m crying as I type this. My parents have brought a proposal for me. The thing is I’m not that attracted to him, he’s not my type. My mom only showed me one picture of his, she hid the rest from me. In that picture she showed me, he looked decent I said okay. I didn’t know there were others until my sibling brought it up. I looked at the rest and to be honest I’m not feeling it. My parents ended up calling his parents they’re all very happy. Later that day I told my mom I’m not attracted to him, she told me to give it a shot because not everyone is photogenic. I’m not feeling it, I’m not attracted to him, and I don’t think seeing him in real life would change that. My mom said go find your mr. Perfect then, which hurt. Idk what to do, just the thought of marrying him makes me cry

Marry a richer woman than you

Brothers, would you marry a richer woman, who comes from more money, lives in a bigger house, has more status, and is more successful than you?

Length of a talking stage

How long should you be in the getting to know each other phase? When do things start to become more serious? Like after how long, a month in, or two, or even more?

Question for the men

My married brothers in Islam, I have a question for you. When do you guys know if she’s the one? Is it right away when you lay your eyes on her, like first sight? Or is it after talking for a while? Does it matter where you’re at in life (financially secure, life figured out etc)?

Heartbroken over a potential

I matched with this guy on Muzz. I was very much into him, I thought he could be the one. There were red flags I didn’t catch on, for example, he said he was surprised to learn from me that people actually get married because of the app. I thought I could change that over time, but I guess he didn’t feel the same way about me. He’s confused on what he wants from life. I ended things with him because of his confusion. I also know that men know what kind of woman they want, and if they see one, they’ll lock down asap regardless of where they’re at, or how confused they are about life. So I guess he just wasn’t into me, he didn’t see me as a future wife, because I am not what he’s looking for. This realization hurts, it hurts a lot, to not be your types type.

I 26F am talking to this one guy(27), we never met in real life and we never called either since we want to keep it as halal as possible. We get along well, and have been talking for I believe a month. He’s too confused about his life. He’s deciding if he wants to stay in the west or move to a Muslim country. He’s deciding if he wants to marry a girl from the west or back home, since they’re more willing to relocate. He also has visa issues and uncertainty around it. I asked him what we are, and he gave me a confusing answer. Whys he talking to me if he’s doesn’t know what he wants in life?
